- In partnership with World Energy and Satavia, Etihad operated a 787-9 flight using Sustainable Aviation Fuel Book & Claim to achieve net-zero carbon emissions on a transatlantic flight. Additional atmospheric reductions were achieved by operational initiatives such as pre-flight engine wash, one-engine taxiing, intensive flight planning and contrail avoidance. I live in Perth and back in 2018 or 2016 Etihad flights were cancelled and its like that until now. I want to see that beautiful plane in the skies of Perth and in the airport. Etihad please bring those beautiful planes back to Perth I miss them a lot and miss the airline a lot too

Sounds like it's not economic or scalable otherwise they would be able to do it for all their thousands of flights not just one.
I remember when compact disc players cost over $1000. It took a few people to buy them, to develop the market and make them affordable.
It's going to take quite a few airlines, drivers, logistics companies, restaurants and households to pay the extra and pave the way, to develop the market and make it affordable for all of us.
So let's not criticise those who are doing something now, when they could be the start of something big.
