    I am not sure if anyone mentioned this but it's highly advised to let your bread completely cool off before you cut it. Helps the bread keep its consistency.

      Good to know!

    Recent Panasonic products use a special manufacturing method that ``kneads the dough thoroughly and then automatically adds yeast afterward'', so there may be a program that doesn't allow you to use the timer if it's a mixed flour that already contains yeast.

    Thanks a ton for this video! Super helpful. Do you happen to know the difference between Panasonic SD-YR2540 vs SD yr 2550?

    • @DisDutch
      @DisDutch  Місяць тому +1

      they both have 2 sensors to create and maintain the right temperature. they both have 4 gluten free options (programmes). both fully automatic. the only difference I would say is that SD-YR2550 has 31 programmes to choose from and SD-YR2540 has 1 more so 32 programmes. other then this they are absolutely the same in my opinion.

    Question, will this machine allow me to make a 2 lb keto/low carb bread ? Or is the size preprogrammed? Thanks for your review

      Hello Della. So from what we can see is that the baking times are fixed and corresponding to menu numbers. so if you use a small recipe / amount , you might have a problem baking time wise. The least we have used now is 450 grams of flower. Baking times / programs are fixed am afraid

    Just bought this machine, have absolutely no idea if I should use the yeast dispenser as I can’t see any Panasonic recipes that say to use it? Or do I just use it anyway and it will always dispense at the right time?

    • @DisDutch
      @DisDutch  9 місяців тому +1

      Hey there. Just follow the recipe. Bread mix packages usually don’t ask for yeast. Add yeast in the dispenser when a recipe asks for yeast otherwise just forget about yeast all together.

      @@DisDutch it’s recipes on the Panasonic website, all bread, and all use yeast, but the instructions always say to just put the yeast in the bread basket. Perhaps it just says that by default and I should use the dispenser anyway.

      @@12988JakeHey, did you find out about this? Cause I’m about to get one and want to make use of the yeast dispenser, if not, I’ll use it for seeds and things anyway

      @@12988Jake correct. The machine will add the yeast from the compartment when needed during the programmed recipe.

    You should never cut into bread while it’s still hot. It’ll dry it out! Just a tip!

      Hey there. Very kind to share it. We always inhale our bread as soon as it’s finished baking haha and it’s always soooo soft and fluffy! 🫶🏻❤️

      Sourdough loaf recipe for any Panasonic Breadmaker: in the bread pan put the following ingredients:
      425g strong White flour or any other flour/flour combo
      1 3/4 tsp Salt
      225g of sourdough starter
      255ml Water
      1)Put the bread pan in the Breadmaker and select the pizza dough programme or the manual bread kneading programme.
      *Check the dough whilst the machine is kneading to see if it’s too wet or dry. One small corner of the dough ball should stick slightly to the wall of the bread pan, but come away cleanly.
      After 10 minutes of kneading, stop/cancel the programme.
      2)Select the French Bread programme
