    I don't mind the speeding up simply because we can still see everything you do and everything you do is inspiring. Thank you.

    It's 1:00 a.m. Watching your tutorial, I have a mad hankering to whip out my brushes, my acrylics, a fresh canvas and paint. Thank you, Chuck Black, for the guidance and inspiration. Just love your channel!

    This painting is looking amasing! I can't get over how your more recent paintings are so much more realistic, and they seem to be more "free-flowing" from you. I'm looking forward to the third part of this one...and seeing what you do next. Fantastic!!!

    I love the painting! As for the Atelier paint, it is intended to be used with their specific product mediums wich allows for the "interactive" capability. It doesn't react with just water because of the paint technology. Check their demo videos.

    Chuck, it's always beautiful.
    I like the view in big plan. We can see all the details: Wonderfull !
    I love to see and study your video. The difficulty for me is to follow your speech, sometimes ... very fast ... but I'm French !
    And I do two things in one time: Study your painting technics and perfect my English (sorry ... my American language)
    You're my double teacher, Chuck !

    chuck you know what my suggestion is you can add all the landscape photos of the same scenic landscape together in photoshop mix & merge the photographs in photoshop you will get an all in one landscape. take the print of the composed photograph it will reduce your dependence on multiple photographs & it will also reduce the stress of focusing on multiple photographs.

    I do have a questions with how you seal your finished painting. For sketch you use Krylon Workable Matte Fixatif, after you are completed the acrylic you spray and seal with the Krylon #1303 Crystal Clear. Then after you add oil paint, do you use a product to seal this? And as always, I love your work and video's....keep up the awesome job!

    • @chuckblackart
      @chuckblackart  6 років тому +2

      Hey Heidi, so I don't seal it with any type of varnish as it wouldn't dry fast enough before I sell it. So instead I use a layer of my medium mixed with a bit of paint thinner. It's a very tough coat and it's served me well over the years. So you don't have to Varnish.. Will do and thank you so much!

    Great tutorial, and this painting is coming together beautifully❤️👏👏I see you use oil paints in sections of your acrylic paintings. Do you use a special varnish when the painting is done that works for both oil and acrylics?

    • @chuckblackart
      @chuckblackart  6 років тому

      Great question, I actually do not varnish the final painting. I use a mixture of medium and paint thinner which oils out the oil paint and dries to a very hard layer. It's quite protective and itself and it's served me well. So you don't have to Varnish over the top of oils. But I do recommend unifying the sheen some way.

    Is there a tip you have on mixing paint for realistic colors? My colors always seem too vibrant.

    chuck, I am brand new subscriber and I have a couple questions. 1. what size are you painting? What size are your blender brushes and others for that matter. Specifically. the painting of "Yellowstone", and do you have a video that shows the entire painting being done. I am now looking at yoiu doing realtime about in the middle (dark trees). Your work in many ways is ineffable. I really enjoy it thanks so much.

    Question for Chuck or anyone in the know: how do you manage to work fast enough to beat the fast drying time of acrylic paints?l?l??

    • @chuckblackart
      @chuckblackart  6 років тому +1

      Great to see that you are enjoying these! Thank you for following. I think that I sometimes don't try to work fast to beat the drying time. I embrace the quick drying time and learn to work with it. Also my speed I would say comes from just time with working on my craft. Takes a lot of practice to up your efficiency ☺️

      Chuck Black I don't want to gush, but I must thank you for your reply and for your tutorials. My husband of 40 yrs recently passed away, and along with prayer, painting has filled a deep void and helped me through The Hours. Your work and tutorials take my mind off of my problems and are really helping me to hone my craft. Thank you again. God bless you.
