Panda King was the easiest for me since I could easily attack him and dodge everything he threw at me at the same time, while Clock-La was the hardest due to the missiles and rings distracting me from concentrating on preventing the laser from dealing massive damage.
I was surprised panda king wasn't last. Since the camera centers on him, you can hold forward left and spam jump and attack. You can literally beat him blindfolded.
I always thought Tsao was the hardest boss, but I recently learned u can just perma lock him by push attacking him and kill him in like 20 seconds haha
Man, that Grizz fight always gave me trouble. Also, Clockwerk was really tough as a kid but when you figure out you can spire jump on the blue diamonds that shoot out the ground lazers on the final phase it makes that section way easier.
Great video! Honestly the order dosen't matter to much as most Sly bosses are easy but I can definitly agree with your top picks, love the Sly series heres hoping more is in the future for it! and hopefully a retcon of penelopes character while were at it
I’d say panda king, mz Ruby, Raleigh, and Tsao were the easiest and honestly most fun to play. Dr. M’s fight makes me want to throw my controller out the window. Also, solid Bentley impression at the end
Apparently the Mask (or at least the spirit controlling it) is the Guru’s brother who he had to seal away inside of the mask after they fought, and it was that fight that drove the Guru to pursue a life of pacifism. I could have some details mixed up but why none of that was in the games I don’t know. Maybe it was in the comics ?
The reason Panda king was easy is because he was originally planned to be the first boss. But due to the requirements of the pole jump, I think the rail grind and the invisibility ability to get the keys to get to him, he and Raleigh swapped places. Also the "Homing Chop" is called the "Booming Chop."
The thing I like about sly cooper is the challenge. I've been playing it since 2004, and I'll go back and still face a bit of challenge trying to do some things/bosses here and there and I love it cause it makes the play throughs that much more fun.
Mz. Ruby's fight is the easiest in my opinion, because you can just button-mash and avoid having to time anything. Anyways, I have a bad habit of making fights unnecessarily difficult for myself, because I tend to forget important strategies or gimmicks. For example, I didn't know you could walk on the lasers in Dr. M's fight, to avoid the elemental balls, even though you literally just learned to do that in the ancestral gauntlet. And I also forgot you were able to slow down time in Mrs. Decibel's fight, so I beat it without slowing down time the first time I played
What funnier is that sucker punch are the same people who made the infamous games and ghost of Tsushima and also the voice actress of Carmelita in the second game also voiced neyla/clockla
I think this is the only list I've actively disagreed with selections of placements (which is saying something considering I thoroughly enjoy Kingdom Hearts more than Sly and you've done a list on quite a few of the KH games)
@@slycoopervaultmaster1256 Honestly not many, the only primary one that stuck out like a sore thumb that I can think of without having to re-watch the whole thing would be Muggshot since even as a kid (back when I literally had to get my older brother to finish certain missions for me I was that bad) I never failed Muggshot unless it was a genuine mistake because its just simple timing and he literally says in his KH2 and KH2 Data Bosses rankings that he has good timing so for Muggshot being a much more simplistic boss for a much more simplistic game is a bit strange to be so high on the list
What sucks about Penelope's retcon in Sly 4 is the fact that after it happened, they immediately just dropped her for the rest of the game, like, shes gone now pretty much and for really no reason, the Black Knight could have been its whole own character and really nothing would be different
23: Panda King 22: Mask of Dark Earth 21: Ancient Dragon 20: Le Paradox 19: Lefwee 18: Rayleigh 17: Contessa 16: Jean Bison 15: Penelope 14: Rajan 13: Black Baron 12: Dimitri 11: The Grizz 10: El Jefe 9: Miss Decibal 8: Miz Ruby 7: Don Octavio 6: Mugshot 5: Clock La 4: General Tsao 3: Toothpick 2: Clockwork 1: Dr M
If you stream these on PlayStation Plus Premium, the crocodile is the hardest and will make you want to smash your controller. Lag will randomly happen and you’ll fail and have to start over like 100 times
I honestly would've put the Contessa much lower. I got hypnotized three times in a row and didn't get hit once during the whole fight. Also her basic attacks are super easy to dodge.
I know you did not just put Dr. M at #1 💀 Clockwerk takes the robotic cake as the hardest boss. The entire level in itself is a boss fight. Unless you're using emulator save states, or memorize where every obstacle's hitbox is, its incredibly tedious. Especially the first part where the van is fixed to only move forwards. Along with that, the camera controls are pretty janky so if you spend more than a few seconds focusing on anything else other than those damn road bombs, the camera cant move downwards fast enough at a good angle to clear the path and youre instantly dead
He is really so easy. You must be doing it wrong. You just have to spam hit him and dodge his attacks (but if you hit him enough he barely has enough time to attack)
@@slycoopervaultmaster1256 all good. And isnt that the truth. Though this is a dead tread but beware of that reddit term r/whoosh. I feel for those traps too
Wanna really have fun with the Rajan fight? Knock out a minion, pick them up, throw them at Rajan, pick him up, throw him into the fence.
Whenever I replay Sly 2 and the Clock-La fight happens. I say in my head “get up on the clock-la’s back!”
Kingdom hearts, AND sly cooper?
My two childhood favorites all on one channel.
Truly a Merry Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas, Albino. You’re truly the gift that keeps on giving.
Panda King was the easiest for me since I could easily attack him and dodge everything he threw at me at the same time, while Clock-La was the hardest due to the missiles and rings distracting me from concentrating on preventing the laser from dealing massive damage.
I was gonna say the exact same thing!!! 💯👏

i discover that shit the last time i played the game as well and used it to kill mr m at the end as well
10:15 I can confirm that is an armadillo thing. We just do that sometimes.

Best Christmas gift this year. Hands down.
Always happy to see this series get some respect! Free Sly from Egypt!

I always assumed Bentley's legs were NOTICIBLY smaller in Sly 3 because of muscle atrophy.
Thanks for the video on Christmas, Albino! Especially on one of my favorite childhood franchises!
I’d say panda king, mz Ruby, Raleigh, and Tsao were the easiest and honestly most fun to play.
Dr. M’s fight makes me want to throw my controller out the window.

Dr M and Tsao get significantly easier if you spam the level 1 push
on PS2 Mz Ruby is easy but on Vita/PS3 shes somewhat harder
@@myagi20000 i heard PS3 Mz Ruby is off-beat because the graphics got updated but not the music track
Yay I found you from the Bloodborne boss ranking! These are always my favorite.

The Guru doesn't even appear in the comics.
The reason Panda king was easy is because he was originally planned to be the first boss. But due to the requirements of the pole jump, I think the rail grind and the invisibility ability to get the keys to get to him, he and Raleigh swapped places.

If you use Triangle Circle (Push Attack) on Tsao then it trivializes his fight, like sometimes he doesn't even get the chance to use his powers.
You can also do a stealth takedown on him in some specific scenarios, which kills him instantly and it’s also hilarious
Brooo I loved sly, I wanna play it again
Thanks for going through all my fav games! Are you gonna do the Ratchet and Clank series? The original ones
I'm so glad someone else pointed out how unbelievably stupid a name Clock-La is!
Also, the North Carolina joke was amazing, props.
Pretty great rankings!
Fun fact: as of now, le paradox is the last sly cooper boss in the series. Technically meaning le paradox is THE final boss.
The clock-la boss fight can be pretty difficult if you don't know what you are doing. I am surprised the panda king was ranked above her.
.... Dammit you're not wrong about Sir Raleigh but.... my Crash Bandicoot love is showing there

I heard Booming CHOP from the Panda King. Not homing. His whole fighting style, Flame Fu, was based off his fireworks fire and explosions.
Lefwey was the hardest fight ever when I was a kid I swear to god he beat my ass
Do you think you could do one for the infamous franchise?

22: Mask of Dark Earth

the whole last sly 3 lvl as some hard as fuck missions tbh never played or watched sly 4 but of the 3 ps2 games its by far the hardest lvl
if they ever remake these games or make a sly 5 they should make the bosses and enemies a lot harder

Anywho, glad you joined the dark side here OwO
Contessa is 9? Boss, who just have 2(3 in second phase) predictable attaks? Its easier than Panda King in my opinion. But yeah, it's just my opinion.
I always hated Clock La because of her first stage.
Mz.Ruby is the easiest. Legit did it blindfolded
Well she does telegraph every single one of her attacks during the Rhythm sections with a specific sound for every button soooooo.
Oh fuck yea. This is great content
dimitri best character in the series no doubt
That is why I prefer the ps2 version even of it isn’t in hd
