I think I would probably have been tempted to turn the camera on him and ask him to repeat it "for the benefit of the tape", and then just walk away leaving him wondering who you actually were!

I use my phone to check sold comps a lot and get the odd comment mainly from other buyers, I used to bite but now yawn or ignore them as they are just looking for you to bite.

I agree, don't get me wrong I have swore in my videos at other buyers pushing me out the way before - but other stalls nearby that would have heard that as you were shouting may have perceived you to be the aggressor and it just wasn't a good look - you are a good reseller - you don't need to play the hard guy all the time - it gets old fashioned.
