I am so grateful this came upon my recommendations. In the last month and a half, my mom and brother passed, along with watching my childhood home being condemned. But it could happen that also a Depression is there for " a good reason"😉THIS is also Part of life. It depends how someone definition of " to live" is. For me...LIFE and to live it includes ALL. Many THINK living means traveling.....Dancing.....singing......painting.....laughing.........happiness......etc
Sadness......fear.....anger.......grief.....etc. also. There is just one difference for me.....do I live consciouss. When I am sad I don't deny this Part of my life right here right now. And it is never the whole book....just a chapter called " my sad days"😉

I was diagnosed with a grade 3 cancer for the second time in March of this year and I have refused all treatment, although I am on a self healing journey at present. Watching people, like the beautiful soul in this video, gives me the inspiration to 'keep on keeping on'...because if she can overcome in the face of adversity...then so can I :-) xxx

What a wonderful soul you are and I envy you. In the midst of this pandemic, and well over seventy, I find myself existing, life hurts. This pandemic has taught me that people are selfish, at least in England. It is me,me,me all the time with no thought of care for anyone else. Life hurts. I don' t fight it. I let it BE HERE.....I FEEL it....I eat it up! And breathe...breathe.....it moves....breathe.....moves.....like a Wave.....if I don' t Grap it......it moves.
For me us the lost important thing to Trust myself and allow fully what IS HERE ALREADY. No resistance. When I accept then the Situation can change....and offen the Situation does not change but MY PERSPECTTIVE in the Situation.......and gehen I can See more solutions.

In Italy some years ago, a lonely older man put an advertisement in a newspaper to ask if anyone had a family without a grandfather, because he hoped to be “adopted”. Family with children but no grandparents approached him, invited him into their circle, and the whole family benefitted. Now, I believe, there are “adopt a granny or grandad” programmed in some countries. But what a brave and wise man he was to make himself vulnerable. To truly love, and to be loved, that is what you must do.
This was a great one to watch after yesterday was spent working on a retaining wall garden making us both a bit stiffer than usual this morning! But I am grateful. Only four years ago, I was still very ill, in constant pain, needed help to rise from a chair, and could not walk without assistance. I never knew if I would garden again, much less on a hill! But here I am, and although I am not up to the 8-12 hours working outside that I used to do, I CAN do so much more now than I thought possible.
That time of nonnegotiable inaction was very difficult, but there were many many gifts!
When all you can do is sit and watch, you see the world differently than when you are focused only on the next task on your list. You learn to see more clearly what is essential and what is not. Is my life richer for getting one more chore done? Or for taking the time to watch bees and butterflies gathering nectar from beautiful flowers? Do I add a moment to my life by getting done faster? Or by taking the time to soak in another sunset? I have a limited number of them; we all do. Why waste any more of them?

I got very angry after my husband died. I was so angry at God. I threw myself into hard physical work. I'm much more like myself now. I can think clearly again. I don't feel like hiding anymore, but I do love my quiet privacy. I'm at the point where I'm making some connections again and it's not so agonizing. Grief is a cruel irony. It's been two and a half years.

"Will I ever be able to laugh again?" That was the same question that I have when my mother passed away. Home feels like empty now without her. But thanks to this video, gives me some realization that " you shouldn't carry baggage with you". That you'll be okay in time and just trust the process. Just go on with your life. I looove this lady. I've lost three important men in my life. My father, my husband, and my son. Each time I did not think I'd ever smile again. But now I do; I recall all their good qualities and the memories we made together; and I smile. Then I say a silence prayer for them and for me.

To be alive, to live fully and not merely exist, to feel fully, be angry, scream, cry and expand your heart by letting it feel all emotions deeply.
