I've had a titubans cristata for a few months, and wintering it indoors under bright grow lights 8-10" above on a 16h timer and properly stress balancing, it is BLUE. Like Blue Candle Myrtillocactus blue kind of blue with a bit of a whiteshift.
@@desertSucculent27 I'm in a drastically different climate, temperate rainforest so that might affect its color. Something about this climate gives me way more crestiforms from leaf propagation than I should get. Might be that I got the titubans direct from Altman, and you know they're constantly tinkering. Maybe a particularly blue strain of derenbergerii.

Medyo confused ako kasi ung ibang succulent growers nagsasabi na pag nag propagate ka ng variegated succulents thru leaves di na siya magiging variegated .. mas preferred daw stem cutting para variegated pa dn 😩
@@desertSucculent27 Most of the succulent growers that I checked before I found your video is that kaya daw naging variegated ung other succulents due to some chemical na hinalo sa water for the succulents to alter ung chlorophyll ng succulents reason being their leaves to produce less green pigments. That’s why daw variegated succulents are way expensive than the regular/typical types. But I am very happy to know that you used the leaf method propagation and you still got the variegated product.. Thank youuu so much 😩 I have hope now haha I love variegated ❤️
@@joyinojales3125 that's a different story kasi we also have yung mga chemical-induced na variegation... Although may natural din naman, i think i will be making a separate vlog about this so i can show yung mga variegated leaf propa natin...

That's pretty.. haven't seen a titubans turning blue... We only get a stressed pinkish color in the tropics ..

Hello po ang ganda ng var.titubans😍 ask ko po sir bat naninilaw yong ibang leaf ng titubans ko?ok lng po ba un?thank you po🥰
Dahil po sa init.. they tend to give up some of their leaves to conserve water and energy (except if mushy, overwatered)
