I should have watched this before using the Mandoline because I couldn’t get my cucumber on it so didn’t use the guard. Big mistake! To others, don’t ever do it as I thought I was being super careful and before I knew it I had a deep cut in my finger.
How do you clean the dang thing? It has so many nooks and crannies and crevices that I'd think it would further disassemble for cleaning, but if it does, I can't figure it out. I'd use it more if it wasn't such a pain to clean.
Why I'm having a hard time getting the blades out.they are like stuck.

I have an older one that has a white slide/guard and I have used it, but not very well! I don’t know what I am doing wrong. Could someone help me?
