  • I wasn’t able to fit my client in so she had to try someone else to get her highlights done. She wanted to be a piecy blonde but was given very fine highlights. The highlights were scoot bad but what was lacking and would have made all the difference in the world was toning after. Adding highlights is just the first step. How you finish them is equally important. And that usually means just adding a toner or glaze to seal the deal!

I have just come back from a hair appointment, and I need toning! Different shades of red, and light blonde at the roots! 😪

Wow thank you girl! I appreciate you noticing me trying to put out better quality videos and for watching. I’m a bit shy to be on camera but I’m beginning to break through that! Lol.

Yeah I feel like toners are definitely needed, even just to seal down the cuticle and add shine !
I think lightening with no toner leaves a really overexposed raw look

What would you recommend for level 7 hair that always pulls brass? I have used 3 different types of 7A and all 3 have turned out brassy

Sorry just seeing this! Not sure what you’ve done since asking this question but if your pulling warm it’s because of the level of developer your using. Anytime you lift the hair, the warm underlying pigment is exposed. Not sure if your doing yourself of at a salon, but I recommend going to a salon and have them take a go. 😊

Don’t let them color it back! Normally o would say all ow the salon to fix it but if that is what they are planning to do to fix it I would ask for your money back and get in salon consultations from other salons to get it corrected.
