- Another year, another video. This time of a VN that caught me completely by surprise, so here are the highlights. I'm absolutely normal for this game, seriously.

What makes this game all the more inspiring and funny is this
Snoot game was parody of a game that came out before the game it was making fun of. Instead of snoot game being a just a parody it took what was known of the time of Volcano high and made a better novel base game with heart break. About not bullying a person and so on
Snoot game went on to be the BETTER GAME. Then they proceed to make their own game that does better. Seriously caveman studios are A tier story writers.

Honestly? This game is hella relatable to me. (Not for the relationships, I guess I can relate to ending 1 of 4 the most but I'm more so on Olivia's side of that scene instead of inco.) But even though my hs life hasn't been the most fruitful, I think this and snoot game have somewhat opened my horizons, I'm extremely hopeful for what's to come in college when I get there, with both the good and bad.

I graduated HS in 2010 basically being Anon. Y. Mous, and buried my head in the books in college. Not rich now, but living plenty comfy. Still single tho. Don't neglect your social life, lads.

Snoot is just as wild of a ride. Harsher language with a more upbeat tone, but just as hard hitting.
Apparently Cavemanon are working on an rpg featuring characters from their mini-VNs. All are implied to be in the same universe as Snoot and Wani. It's called Exit665 and I can't wait.
Are there any details available for that game?

I'm emotionally DESTROYED right now. I found about this game 3 days ago bc of Steam's recommended tab, read some reviews that mentioned Snoot game, decided to play Snoot game as it was free... Finished it and was floored by how surpisingly well written it was, and on the very next day played through the entire Gator demo and bought the game as soon as the demo ended. Now i find myself here, laying in bed at 4am, minutes after finishing the game, looking to fill the VOID it left in me.

I think the only other times a game made me feel this empty afterwards was when I finished the Mass Effect Trilogy the first time and RDR2.

Curse of getting ending 4th as the first. But I'm glad you get to experience game in its entirety. I was I credibly sad myself after getting ending 3 first. But after my emotions calmed down I realised it's beautiful in its everydayness. We are almost never blessed with perfect golden endings in our lives but this one leaves hope for the future in recovery.
My first run, I made the choices that seemed like the ones I would make, not necessarily the best ones. Thankfully I didn't get ending 4 first (I got 3, which at least had the closure to not leave me depressed). I like to save the best for last. The wait was absolutely worth it.
Damn, I got ending 2 in my first run just a few hours ago... That was awful, I can't even imagine how bad ending 1 is. What sucks the most is that everything went south during the Winter Ball, so it was like a huge shock bc up until then, I felt like I was getting at least a good ending. Thankfully, I just managed to get ending 4 about 15 minutes ago and now I'm just bawling my eyes out.
End 1 hurts so fuking bad is just so fuking AAAAAAAAASSSSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I got E3 my first blind run. I developed Inco well but it turned out I coddled Olivia a bit too much. Which is my personality type it seems.
For instance on the scene in the rain where she admits what she did with the art thing, I chose "I can't hate you." because I know what it's like to have someone turn on you and it hurts so much. I didn't want her to feel like I was turning on her.
I also took the key. That's just me being a natural protector. I'd rather take the risk than let someone else.

I also got E3 on my first blind run. The Olivia points I missed was inviting her outside and taking the key. I missed one Inco point resolving the argument with Liz cause I didn't follow Olivia. Funnily enough, I was trying not to coddle her too much and somehow still did
same here, only got e3 because of the rain scene and the elevator scene
yeah, i fucked up a bit more and got ending 2 first, i was practically speeding through dialogue when i realized i got a bad ending. then on my second playthrough i managed to get ending 3, which wasnt what i was going for but im glad i did because halfway through trying to go through ending 4 i stopped and decided i should get ending 1 (was dreadful but not as bad as snoot game E1..) out of the way and im real glad i did because i was able to close out the game with ending four. the void is still there of course lol. all in all i think it was not a terrible way to go through the game.
I Wani Hug that Gator was a game that I played right when I was starting to lose myself emotionally. At first, the game's endings didn't help much. They completely and utterly fucked me up emotionally, especially ending 1. But as days went past I started to realize that it was helping me get through everything right now. Sure it stings, but it keeps me going in hopes that life can get better.

This is one of the best representations of someone who played either Snoot Game or Wani for the first time. Wani by far has been one of the best games i have played in decades and it reminded me of feelings i simply though i didn't had in me anymore, it made me thankful to be alive just so i could experience this. Your reactions are very similar to the ones my friend had when i... kinda forced him to play this game with me since he too wasn't into visual novels and it is really nice to see that he isn't the only one that felt this way. The video is great, very nice job!

Ah, it's always fun to see someone's first exposure to a Cavemanon game. I haven't even had a chance to finish all of Wani's endings and I still resonated with the clips - just because of Snoot.

Good video dude, Wani also made me feel things I hadn't in a long time. And I'm glad you decided to play all the endings, it's definitely worth it. I can guarantee you Snoot Game is just as much of an emotional rollercoaster.

I somehow missed this on my first playthrough. Like, the reference went completely over my head. What’s worse is I even said right before when Olivia asked what music Inco listens to “oooh FNAF music oooh” (as a joke because of my own FNAF brainrot) and that ended up being the joke. I literally predicted the joke and SOMEHOW missed it being handed to me instantly after. It’s so over for me FNAF bros I don’t think I’ll recover from a fumble this large…

I played Wani after finally giving Snoot Game a shot.
Its amazing what the developers have pulled off and I am happy they took the whole Volcano Bluffs and expanded upon it. The fact they built up another amazing roster of characters and none of them feel like a rehash of the previous ones just shows their creative talent. Everything they learned from making Snoot Game has been built upon, from the music, the art and even now we are getting cinematics makes me wish they would do another pass over Snoot game.
I just want more cavemanon, more dinos and more hugs, that cannot be too much to ask right?
this game has literally been a detriment to my life, the writing and the story telling are impeccable. the game pulls on your heart strings, the good the bad all of it it worth it. i was so engrossed in the story that i had run through 2 play throughs and 35 and a half hours in just about 4 days. would highly recommend to anyone and have been since i finished it.
Never played a VN before. Saw random Wani artwork on a discord channel. Looked it up. $14.99? Sure, I'll bite.

I'm so jealous you got the fourth ending first try, I got the second ending and I felt like shit because I genuinely thought I was in the path for the fourth, but ended up realising I was entirely on the wrong (tho I'm happy I got that ending, made me realize a lot of stuff about myself and how I treat others)
I absolutely love how you made this video! You've shown off possibly THE BEST possible outcome of this visual novel without spoiling how you truly got it, letting others work out on their own what to do or to just keep it in mind for when they give it a shot.
I will say that this visual novel has hit me hard with its saddest parts to the point of making me cry because of how close it was with some of its topics to my past... But it's probably one of the best things I've played in a while, even if I ended up with a sad but hopeful ending

This is my favorite game.
This also happens to be the first VN I've ever tried out and I was beyond impressed. This VN made me feel so many different emotions and was truly a fantastic journey that I was more than happy to sit through. It can be a massive punch to the gut and rips your heart apart. It's also one of the most beautifully told stories that I've ever come across. I loved it from the beginning to the end.

I then ACCIDENTALLY spoilered myself with ending one by browsing the game folder to take one of the drawings out of it and I just... I couldn't. I was destryoed. I had to take a moment away from the computer.

So nice in all aspects...
And 3...? Despite being so bittersweet.. it is my favorite.

Its open ended and I love it for that.
It could mean she tries fails and gives up, or tries fails thrives.
I like to think. After ending 3. She goes back for her GED. Starts wanting to learn how to teach art. Maybe not at their old highschool, but somewhere. And starts to pass it to someone with a passion like her own.
Inco becomes a professional event photographer, and while things aren't amazing, they make it work.
Together.
Olivia might even still do art streams as a hobby when she has the time.

25 years old, depressed and lonely, I decided to play this game, having very minimal experience with visual novels. Picked it up during the summer sale not really thinking much of it other than "cute scalie romance VN for comfort food".
What I wasn't expecting was a game that would bring out emotions in me that I didn't even think I had anymore. I can't remember the last time I actually teared up at something out of the sheer beauty of what it is, but that dance scene in E4 did exactly that. This game made me really put some genuine thought into the direction my life was headed, and wise up to the choices I was making, both good and bad.
Now, here I am, 25 and feeling like I am just now starting my real life, 7 years late. And this game played a huge part in helping me get off my ass and do it.
So thanks, Cavemanon. Thanks for making me feel something again... and for reminding me how joyous and rewarding life can be when you're not sheltering yourself away from the world, sitting around waiting to die. I will forever be thankful for the things I took away from Wani and Snoot Game. My only regret is that I'll never experience them again for the first time.

Top tier stuff my dude. There's something beautiful about seeing someone who genuinely understands. Great line reads too, fast and accurate with spot on inflections.

Update at mr iadakans memorial I was emotionally destroyed. I never thought I would be crying for a video game character or story but this game made me realize things about myself. My grandmother passed away last year and I thought I was over it. But when I experienced the aftermath of Mr iadakans death it truly hit me that I lost a very important person in my life. I was in a funk for two days straight afterwards. When a game makes you feel things like this and makes you think it is no longer a game, it’s an experience. I don’t think I will ever have a game like wani but I’m glad I experienced it and glad you felt the same when playing this

I played this game with my boyfriend, we both cried and loved this game so much. I am also a disabled woman, and consider myself an artist even if I don't draw as much as I used to, so we both really related to Olivia and Inco.

Being absolute truth and kinda expositive here...i loved it. I loved every second of the best endings. I followed the relationships and interactions of the characters
And at a certain point...I started to like the game's focus character.
And I really wanted a happy ending for her, so much so that I tried to do all the endings and find the best one for her.
I laughed with her, I had fun, I learned about her, I helped her overcome her obstacles and traumas.
But was it really me? And not the protagonist?
And the protagonist of the story is not the player, he is a Human called Inco
And in the best ending...they stay together, they work together, they meet at the same fountain that years ago they met to mourn the passing of their favorite teacher.
And Inco proposes to her for marriage
Even so, in ending 3, they go to the professor's grave and the main girl is very sorry, but then smiles while crying and says that the professor was right about Inco. That he was special.
And I keep thinking. I followed two characters in their growth and relationship, while I felt wholeheartedly attracted to the girl.
And as soon as it was over, I was... restless. I'm not happy, but I want to keep this game in my life.
And I feel...alone. I wanted someone like her.
I wanted someone I could get close to, have time for, watch the friendship grow, laugh at
And I feel...alone. More than ever, which kinda led to having a relapse
When I got the game, I actually got because I had an itch to play a full visual novel after playing a demo for a different one. I thought it would be sorta light hearted in the sense, but after playing and getting both the high and low ends of the game, it really stuck to me. Like a lot of people, including you, have said, this invokes feelings that have either been shut away or were never fully released until afterwards. I’m glad to have played the game and even more so to have found someone make a video about it in a genuine way. Love the video and thanks for the throwback.

I just wanna say thank you bui. I watched a bit of this video as, when i was recommended this game a month ago on steam i thought oh cool little twist with a gator girl thats cool. Then on monday i saw your video, well part of it and didnt wanna get spoiled further. I have had a issue that involves having no emotions, no feelings towards anything. Nothing feels real, all of the issues stemed from my time in the US army and when i finished this, got ending 4 first time as well... it is the most hard hitting story ive ever had the chance of experiencing. I had such a similar highschool experience that some scenes were almost identical. This gave me feelings back, well a bit of feelings but now thats given me a bit of hope. Thanks for helping me get over that fence and finally getting this 10/10 game... sorry... Art piece.

After playing Snoot Game a few months ago, i looked up and saw that Cavemanon was working on a brand new game. I was pretty hyped for this game. Like Snoot Game this one was a excellent experience once again. I think they made the charachters very intresting. Just look at Olivia. She is fucking flooring it with her wheelchair in the start of the goddamn game. Liz with a height of a skyscraper, Damien with his positive attidute. Overall, this game really had a lot to give: Goosebumps, funny moments, a little bit of drama, diffrent endings that hurt your feelings or warm your heart and that wholesome moments when it finally comes to end. Literally a fucking masterpiece.
Dang, this silly little game has got some good artistic talent behind it. Love to see it.

And i love it , having said that i made the mistake of going by my gut first time round not knowing about the unlock for getting all 4 endings and got ending 3 . Ending 1 is gonna hurt i just know it

I beat the game yesterday (got ending 3) and this entire video, beginning to end, entirely and perfectly encapsulates how I felt playing through the game. Absolutely fucking spectacular. I almost feel bad that I got this on a Steam sale because I would happily pay full price and then some for it
I got the 3 of 4 ending first and it genuinely made me cry like a bitch. It was one of the most bittersweet and heartfelt stories I've ever experienced and i was not prepared. Grade A material bro.

I just finished all the endings plus epilogues last week (*cough* took me a lot longer *coughcough*) and was also yelling excitedly at all the same moments like in the Gaijin 4koma meme. I also got ending 4 first, but really enjoyed 3. I see you also have a Snoot video so I guess I'm watching that next! Snoot has a few mods that are great (though not all are complete), so now we wait for the Wani mods. There're also quit a few good fanfics on Archive of Our Own.

I first watched your snoot game video, and it was fun. so when i went through wani, i ended up coming back to this video multiple times to see the reaction to what I had played up to yet.
it was good. I actually think wani is better in terms of romance, its mechanically better obviously, and I think that olivia is more grounded than fang as a believable character, but anon is just miles better than inco.
