I came across a channel the other day 'Tim Reacts' an English dude filming himself watching other videos, a bunch on Poland. Massive views. Makes me question if it's worth the effort honestly

Was in Krakow in early July and went to the Judah Market and also for zapiekanki in Plac Nowy. Food and prices were wonderful!!!

Not just crap but erroneous and misleading and viewers are going to get completely the wrong ideas and miss out on the legendary stuff! I can't stand the vids made by 2/3 day travelers who think they know the city. THEY DON't

I lived opposite it on Bochenska - never want. Had long waiting lists
That's actually an excellent price for the zapiekanka. After today's exchange rate is roughly $3,44 USD.
To put into perspective, last month i visited NYC and asked my friends to drop me off at the best zapiekanka place they know, so for the 12 inch ( 1 foot ) zapiekanka with 2 different kinds of meats and cheese i paid $8 something. And believe It or not it's still cheap, as meal in McDonald's for lets say Big Mac, fries and soda will run you $12 or $13 bucks.

Gred, I think its time for you to give away stars to the restaurants. A Ged 3 star restaurant is as good as a 5 star Michaline all winter tire. Have to visit you guys finaly but had lots of family problems lately and just didn't have the time to leave Warsaw. But I wll get there ;)

Definitely Krakow has some great eateries and the street food brilliant. Judah a regular place i visit and yes Beef Burger bar very good. If you around Kazimierz My Heroes Burgers on Miodowa does a decent Burger not sure if they have Gorgonzola cheese cheese 😊 enjoying the Vlogs 👍

I am glad you made this video. I have lived in Kraków over 10 1/2 years. Recently I watched some YT videos like you mentioned of tourists sharing places to eat here. I then realized how pathetic many of these videos are actually. I had a friend visit from Crete back in October and we got a hot dog at that food truck at Judah Food Court. It was sooo good! My friend enjoyed it so much she even wanted her last dinner in Kraków there. The young man working there even remembered us and what we had ordered the first time. I will definitely go back! I wasn’t aware of the beach food court near Błonie. I am rarely out that way. But good for me to know about it so I can take visitors there.

Judah Food Market, just wow what good food they have. The baked potatoes and Maczanka is amazing! Kielbasa from the Blue van also to rekommend. We love Krakow !(though Zapiekanka is overrated ;) )
You have to get the Zapiekanka from the right place and get a loaded one!

Hello from California! I'll be in Krakow two weeks from now and am trying to work out how common it is to pay with credit card at food trucks and small vendor stalls (handicrafts, cheeses, etc), to budget how much to take from the cash machine. I noticed a credit card payment terminal on the counter at the belgian fries food truck.
electronic payment and card payments accepted everywhere, just like CA. Can use same approach for cash as you would in US
Those "Żuk" ("Beetle") vans were once used in many areas of life here in Poland during the 70s and the 80s. The blue ones were driven by polish militia during the times of communism. I think this is the best function for them, ha ha! :)

Mr Kumpir jacket potato food truck is disappointing..hard-shell parts inside , cooked too quickly on the outside.fillings are good, but the potato itself is terrible.
That's a shame. They used to be good, nicely done skin, soft fluffy potato and good fillings. At Judah Market my fave is Mr Dog, I

Now im in a real dilemma!!!! I am in krakow on the 3rd & 8th of feb , where is best to eat ;-), was in this area for my first krakow weekend, on a stag, poor hotel staff in hotel estera , we did push the boundaries.

I live in sydney Australia, where a standard medium size meal from mcdonalds is about 17$ and its almost impossible to find any meal for 1 under 20$, i do live in one of the wealthiest suburb's in the world but i cant understand why we cant have food like this, i love my home country Poland, maybe one day i can help bring this food here 🙏 thanks for sharing 😊

Zapiekanki already have good reputation in UAE, so why not? I was in Australia 2018 and is not as expensive as I thought.
Great video. Been Krakow at least a dozen times now, we fly out from Liverpool mid August. Last time we went the beach themed eatery was a disgrace, full of pissed up locals laughing at all the tourists. Fair play to the police who where there in minutes and didn't mess about removing them. Some real nice places in Krakow, but I've learned from experience that the best time to go is midweek, as I've noticed its getting bad for stag and hen parties now at the weekends.
