I've seen two other reviews of this bag and yours is definitely the best. With your video, it becomes apparent how customizable the bag is. Everyone has talked about the removable shoulder strap. But not that you shoulder pad is extra. No one talked about how you can add another padded compartment. No one showed how the divider worked. Now I know, it's inside the compartment.
I had to sell my 555 but now I have a replacement for it. Billingham did a fantastic job on the upgrades without losing the style and quality that makes them famous.
Thanks. That's a great view of a great bag! Nice to see it up close and personal like that.
Thanks for watching Chris!
Great review! You showed me that I can fit my 15 inch MacBook Pro in and it was easier to see the open side space where the camera pouch was not. Now to decide which color I want!
Glad I could help!
Filmed in Australia?
Anyway, you can purchase a *full-sized interior padded compartment* for this bag as an optional extra. (That half-sized thing that they include with the bag is useless for me.)
I've been using *Billingham* and *Tenba* bags for 30 years. I now also use *ThinkTank.*
The Billingham stuff is classy, but it has always been very expensive.
For news and rougher photo-journalism coverage, such as protests and riots, I use *NewsWear* 'chest vest' pouches. (You don't take a Billingham into a war-zone.)
The *Tenba* shoulder bags of the 1980s (such as the *Pro Pak* and *Metro Pak* bags) were, in my opinion, the _best ever_ shoulder bags for working out of, in real time.
ThinkTank is good for airline travel.
Filmed in New Zealand :)
Great review, thank you very much, I appreciate it 👍🎩
Really great review. Best I've seen on any Billingham bag so far. Thank you
Thank you Alan! Glad to hear you like this review :)
Excellent intro and review of this beautiful Billingham bag! I was wondering if the new "Insert" would accommodate a GRIPPED Fuji X-T3 with lenses such as the Fuji XF16-55, 55-200, 80 Macro, and 23 f/2. Thank you sir!
Hi Steve thanks! Unfortunately I don't have the new insert or the camera you mentioned so can't test it for you. Maybe other viewers can answer this question?
@@TheRealRichardWong Thanks, Richard. As I do have the Billingham F-Stop 1.4, which does accommodate a gripped X-T3, I believe that this Hadley One is a bit larger, both in width and depth, so that leads me to believe that it should handle the gripped X-T3 even better/easier than my F-Stop 1.4. I assume this Hadley One also has the superb, waterproof FiberNyte construction.
Thanks for answering the Question if this Bag fits a Macbook Pro 15" ! :-)
Glad it helped :)
Yeah i've been looking around for review for 15inc touchbar can fit in...
I just got my Hadley One today and my 15inch touchbar MBP fits in just fine. Slips in and out quite easily.
can it fit a 70-200 standing? What about with it attached to a camera? Curious about the height. Thanks
I don't have the bag with me to check but i would imagine if attached to camera might struggle a bit
Thanks for the video, really informative. Wondering about the shoulder strap, i read the SP40 (1.5'') was meant for the PRO and the SP50 (2'') for bigger bags, unsure about the ONE bag if it will use the SP40/SP50, can you confirm which did you bought?
hi Pabula, thank you for watching! Sorry can't remember which strap is it as it's not my bag/strap.
I have the Hadley One and the SP50 with it. Better for the size of the bag. ;)
Could you please also advise will it fit a last generation of Macbook Pro Retina 15 inch? cheers~
Kwun Chiu Yau sorry I don't have the bag anymore so can't test it. But from memory the latest one fits very easily so the previous Gen should also fit maybe a bit tighter
Do you know if this will fit the 15" MBP retina (2013)?
Sorry I can't answer the question. Maybe some else has this bag and a 2013 mbp can answer? (My guess is yes as I remember there were still a bit of space left with latest 15" mbp)
Richard Wong thanks, I'll check with Hadley themselves as no ones responded yet
Sorry and yes they are very good in responding emails! Do you mind pop a message here once you heard back?
No need to apologise mate! I will definitely let you know asap.
Richard, it will not fit in according to Billingham: twitter.com/BillinghamBags/status/1040148572736565250
