Rob Negus and activate subtitles for the fun of it!
Same lol
I think I got confused watching this video. Tell me, in the end, which bag produced the best bokeh?
Rub Vaseline on bags for maximum bokeh lol
Billinghams are amazing bags. I was in Switzerland at the Staubach waterfall and after a thunderstorm the fall jumped ten feet to the right over the cliff and landed on me. My clothes and boots were soaked instantly and the weight of the water pushed me over but the Billingham was bone dry on the inside. Saved all my gear. It’s things like that that prove the asking price is right for the bags.
Thanks! Glad it worked so well for you! :)
Phrase of the day-‘dry as a biscuit-which is dry’ 😀
I recently bought the Billingham Hadley One because of this (and other videos you've done) video. I needed a bag that I could use to bring my laptop to work, and provide enough me with enough space for my camera. This combination enables me to keep my camera with me at all times, which means I take more photos. Also, as I walk to work I (in Ireland) it had to be rain proof.
I'm very happy with this bag. My laptop and camera gear is always dry and safe.
UK prices online range from 109 (Small) to 250 quid for the 'One'. Some think they're style over substance. However, you could spend more on a designer messenger bag that doesn't hold as much as the Pros nor be as protective of it's contents. All a matter of whether it's fit for your purpose and of course, your affordability.
Any other people here who just wants to watch Lok as if he's some kind of tv series? We love you lok.
Thanks guys - great video. I'm a Billingham fanboy. Use the Hadley One for travel or if I'm on a day out and want to carry a lot of stuff. But the Hadley Small has been my everyday bag over the past year or so - perfect size to take a rangefinder camera and an extra lens or two, as well as my iPad/Kindle, wallet, phone, glasses, headphones, and a few other bits and pieces. I've recently upgraded the Hadley Small to the Small Pro as I love the "Pro" features, especially the handle and the document pocket, which I've actually found is the perfect accessible spot for my iPhone. Love Billingham stuff!
I forgot my Manfrotto Manhattan Mover 50 (backpack) with camera and drone gear outside over night - in cold heavy rain - gear was dry but cold. Bag was dripping wet! The Hadleys look great!
I got 2 Billingham 225 models And they are the best MODELS Made back in early 1970/ 2000
I have both Billingham and Fogg camera bags. Both are beautiful bags and both have a design flaw that drives me crazy. The outer pockets are a great place to put small accessories. However, the snap closure does not completely seal off the contents and items inside the pockets can fall out of the bag if the bag becomes inverted. I've lost quick release tripod plates, rolls of film, batteries etc. It would be nice if the pockets included a velcro closure to prevent small items from escaping.
Sorry to hear that Mark! We generally try and avoid using Velcro anywhere that people might want to get in and out of every few minutes as its loud and tends to wind people up - thats why we only use it to secure the dividers inside because people tend to leave those in place for weeks or months at a time. I would say some people get around the problem you are having by putting smaller things in pencilcase type bags inside our bags - the small things can't escape the pencilcase and the pencilcase can't escape our bags. Hope that it useful!
Thanks, I understand the issue your facing and appreciate the suggestion. I'll see about getting some pencil cases or small plastic boxes as that would solve the issue.
Billingham Bags what a company
This is such a nerdy review.......I love it!!!!!
Interesting comparison of the Billingham Hadley line. One question...Since I believe that the FiberNyte bags are a 3-layer composite, with a layer of butyl rubber between 2 layers of canvas (please correct me if I'm wrong), then I don't understand how the underside of a few of the covers show a little water staining. Unless of course, those were just canvas bags?
0:58 questions answered, Hadley Pro 2020
The Hadley Pro is pretty great, nice looking and hard wearing. I have the sage colour instead of black, as I imagined dirt/dust from use would show up more noticeably on the black.
Definitely Hadley One X Pro 360
So its Hadley Pro 2020 instead of Hadley Pro Pro
I always enjoy watching you review these damn bags lol. IDK what it is, but for some reason I think you were destined by the fate of the universe to review Billingham bags lol
Where is Warren now?!
Thanks Lok, now I need to buy another Billingham !.... Plus more videos with Warren :)
Darryl Carey How do you want to buy more video with Warren?
Darryl Carey buy me! Now!
How much is he worth ?.....
Is this like buy one get one free ?
Hey Mr. Cheung, been following your videos on Hadley series and I just want to ask you; how thick can the laptop compartment fit? My laptop is arnd 1.8 cm thick and 13.3 inches long. I am from Singapore and there's no store to check the bag out!!!
I think the smaller one is called the Hadley Air
I'm still confused Lok.....! :-(
Tell me; which Billingham bag will allow me to carry a Canon EOS R attached to the RF 70-200mm, and also carry the RF 15-35mm and RF 24-70mm.....?? ....and just a few little accessories.
I'd pop along to a Billingham stockist, and try for myself...but we're still essentially a city on lockdown....!
Any advice (apart from "sell your Canon R gear and buy Sony!"), anyone?? :-)
Nice to see Warren
Billy Bunny nice to be back for a bit :)
Is it possible to put 12 mac into Hadley Small Pro?
Those Bags are really nice, I like how the styling doesn't get in the way of using it. Not that affordable tho...
1 clap each = 2 claps? I thought it was Meme Review.
Just bought the One...5-9 days shipping though
Hi, can anyone tell me what size the iPad was that went into the small bag? Thanks
Those on screen graphics help a lot!!!
"Ha ha ha"
"ha ha ha" "HA HA HA!"
Good to see you Warren! Why you stopped youtube?
I thought they had a Hadley Large Pro for a while? Maybe they still do?
Baian Chen: From the look on Warren's face towards the end of the video, I guess he's got a life. Not the kind of "got a life" that kai or Lok has, mind you, but the got-a-life kind of got-a-life. You see what I mean? I'll get my coat.....
We still do yes! www.billingham.co.uk/hadley-large-pro.html
I just purchased the same hadley pro that Lok has. Same color but the insert is a bit different as there is not a cover on the top.
Really! You’re sure it’s not got folded down?
I just checked. It is folded down... Thanks Lok!
Haha happened exactly the same to one of my friend before
I'm Lok, OH! and I'm Warren, ohh.. XD
The Annoying Tourist hello!
Where can I get this in HK Lok?
Hadley Proer, obviously
why would you lug an iPad with yiu when taking fotos?
For a cup of coffee after the shoot? For a trip? Probably not during a shoot!
Can I fit a 5D mk4 with a 24-70mm 2.8 in the small pro?
GalaxyDragon777 i even can fit my 1DX with 35mm f/1.4L II in hadley small with all inserts removed
Hadley pro 2020 then hehe
As a Hadley Pro user, I want say it just so heavy when you tend to put a lots of in it.
Sorry to hear that, not sure that is a problem with the bag though?
Where is this location in Hong Kong?
HomeSquare in Sha Tin
I was Wondering where Warren was...
Dion Chapman I'm around
But alive
I wish I had money to get one.
sadly the inner rainproofing layer doesn't last forever... or even "practically" for ever ... eventually it starts to break down and crumples. I have a couple of old 5 series bags ( around 15 years old) and on the top flap you can feel the perished rubber (or what ever it is) moving around between the outside and inside layers like squishy sand... always worries me it will get picked up in airport X-Ray screening "what's this powder inside your bag" the rest of the bag is fine, a few scuffs, tiny bit of abrasion on on corners and such like but nothing as serious as losing water resistance on the top flap
Sad to hear that! I've seen a few pretty old Billingham bags that seems fine, I'm not aware of this problem. Will have to beware with mine!
15 years is still a good innings for a camera bag, I've had a couple of Lowe Pro's (both stealths) last barely 3 years of heavy use so even if 10 years is the limit for the Billingham they are still better value for money durability wise. My Billingham Hadley original is my most used bag and kicking on for 13 years now without showing signs of perishing (I even bought a Hadley large to replace it two years ago but barely use it as the original just keeps kicking on) so maybe Billingham changed the material in the waterproofing layer sometime after 2000
Hi Mark,
Really sorry to hear that. I strongly suspect that your bag is over 20+ years old though - back then we used to line the fabric with natural rubber that can break down (occasionally) under some circumstances. These days we line them with butyl rubber which is a lot more stable chemically and so much, much less likely to suffer from that problem.
Again really sorry to hear of the problem that you have had but I think Lok's 4 year old bag and bags bought today are almost certain not to have that problem.
Also we offer a repair service - so for a fee we can replace the top flap on your bag with one lined with butyl rubber. or we can replace Lok's top flap with one that doesn't have a hole in! (Or put a leather patch over the hole for him). Even after the warranty is over or for cases where people have just worn the thing out we do try to help as best we can.
Hope that helps!
Regards,
Mike
yeh 20+ years is probably about right, I bought the 445 new old stock (I suspect "very old new stock") in about 2003 and the 255 used in about 2004.That's good to hear (about both the change to the lining and the repair/replace) and I might take you up on that sometime for my 455 which is a real "Goldilocks" size for a medium format kit... the 225's pretty much been retired and replaced by a recently purchased 207 and the old 455 by a 555 (which I got a very sweet deal on from Yodobashi... not exactly a store known for discounting and bartering, but hey, right place, right time, and an offer I couldn't refuse) but the 555 is almost _TO_ big as it tempts me in to throwing in "just one more... OK... two more... lenses... and hey I can also put in a ...."
Hi Mark,
Glad I could help. Just email with some photos when you'd ever like to get a quote for that repair.
And yep the 555 does tempt you into carrying too much! Sort of the reason we don't do a 665!
Regards,
Mike
lok do you know where is the best (and/or the cheapest) place to these billingham bags in hong kong
Are you living in Hong Kong? If so the cheapest way is simply order from Billingham web site, try it! Try add a bag to shipping cart, once you pick "Hong Kong" as destination, it will change to a cheaper price with free shipping. I'm not sure why but it is true!
Lok you are the best!!!!
This video must be the most chaotic comparison ever!
More Warren! Where you hiding bro?
Jackson Brown I'm around! Just a little busy ;)
Jackson Brown thanks for the love though

Well Lok... did I just sub to a tech review/sell channel? :( I thought we would get to know you...
DIEGOVISTA Do you mean you hope to see more vlogs?
Lok Cheung super late reply, but yes... Vlogs among other things! Personal projects, videos about you as a person. I thought since you were free from DGTV, you'd let your creativity flow, but it seems you stuck to the exact same thing DGTV was doing.

Very Funny , Ha ha ha ha...
Billingham bags are so ugly. I just don't get it.
I'm sure these bags are great, but they look like women's purses. I'll pass
Billingham bags are expensive compared to other similar specced bags.
I look at it as a nice bag that double as camera bag. Then it's not that expensive!
Yes they are, but overpriced for what they do. Can you do a video on charging batteries on the Sony A7iii? I believe a charger is not included in the box, or is it just some countries this affects?
Your right! But cheap compared to other bags of similar quality and materials ;)
Jansport much better! If it rains just buy a new camera.
costly and lousy quality (experienced user)
