    How did you fix the piston that popped out? How did you put it back? did you have to take out the whole assembly?

    Don't you open brake master cylinder to reduce pressure on brake piston when installing pads?

      I did exactly how I showed on the video, and I have no issues doing it this way. Did I do something differently then it should be done?

      Only time will tell you do things wrong for so long that things will fail on you

      I always take a little out of the master cylinder, so that when I compress the piston to install new pads the fluid has some where to go.

    Did you have to bleed your breaks before you did anything? Or did you just replace the pads?

    • @dimascartech
      @dimascartech  4 роки тому +1

      i just replaced the pads but its proble easier to bleed them .

      @@javieraguilar5881 you welcome! but also check your brakes after you replace them, if they dont work as good try bleeding them. its proble always best to bleed them, but sometimes you need second person to do so.

    Which brake pad brand did you use?

    • @dimascartech
      @dimascartech  3 роки тому

      I don’t remember exactly what brand I used, but I think I used some midioker ones from Auto Zone. I Just asked the Auto Zone which ones fit my truck. If you don’t have Auto Zone you can buy brake pads in most or all of the auto parts stores and there will be like few different choices to go with.
      Here is the link that explains the different types of brake pads.
