I have absolutely no interest in the pest control industry but this is just so fun and informative to watch I’ve gone around my house just to look for entry places
Man, Kevin! Like the way you think. Definitely on a Discovery network channel [not sure which one would be the best for them] but feel their content would fit on there the best. Their show would dominate the ratings hands down. Air it on Tuesdays to go with their Twin name or something. Would happily watch them with the fam.
As fun as that sounds to talk about it could potentially ruin what they have going. Once you sign on with a network they want all creative control. I’ve heard of small shows turn disastrous when big networks put their tentacles into the mix
I can see very heavy ground-cover, looks like ivy, all over the sloping property, and rats thrive in heavy ground cover like that: ivy, blackberry, any thick ground cover will bring rats in and give them a safe haven to travel in and live in. Looks to me as if you should place at least 30 bait boxes throughout that ground cover, plus another 20 or so boxes around the base of the house, to really knock the rats out of the picture there, as quickly as possible. Sure, you can catch all the rats inside the house, and block up any entry holes you find, but, the rats will still be there on the property in big numbers unless you get rid of them from that ground cover and keep a poisoning program going permanently around the property. Otherwise they will return and eventually find a new way into the house. You nailed it good, guys. Great work, as always.
Ohhhh like this feedback Gregory! Didn’t think to offer the clients this aggressive trapping approach. Folks, check out Gregory UA-cam channel, great rat trapping tips!
As a licensed pest control tech in Texas, they didnt teach us hardly anything and dont give us enough time and resources to do a fraction of this. It sucks
I was just thinking about this the other day, like how do pest control people deal with rat infestation in mansions and then you guys upload a video lol you guys read my mind haha. As much as I love mansions and nice houses like this I would never get one, it so much maintenance and if a problem like this happens it can be difficult to find. Good job!

@@svenrohark4003 Hello :) We have been to interlaken, it was AMAZING!! We use purblack foam. It’s the BEST. You still want to add some wire mesh, especially from those aggressive rats.

It seems like your secret, or at least one of them, is that you’re far more eager and willing to tear into things. Jobs like this, where other companies couldn’t find it, don’t seem to have done things like cut out the ceiling, or cut into pipes. It makes sense though, you have to actually get to where the rats are to see what is going on!
Awesome video guys! I’m curious about the efficacy of the “repellent” being used, specially on a property that sits on a hillside. This house could really benefit from monthly rodent baiting services.
Great question! We have it used it enough to really make claims that this is effective. We are going to continue to monitor to see. Appreciate the feedback here 🙏
Why are people scared of mice? Are you scared of hamsters too? They are just little furry animals. They are adorable. Even rats are cute but I get why people are scared of them
i do residential hvac here in north bay california. a lot of these big houses have crappy installs and are fully infested with rats, i find so many inside of furnaces that are cooked to a crisp for who knows how long, and most of the time they are right near the return filter. homeowners are clueless…
@@TwinHomeExperts Sorry I changed 'droppings' to 'shhh'. Your video commemt about finding the point of ingress made me laugh. You are definitely not full of sh.
Hardie tile backer board is a good material to use for blocking off holes. You can use thinset and fiberglass tape to close joints. You can add layers of backer board to obtain thickness if that is needed. Mix small amounts of thinset in a drywall mud tray. Easy to clean and the amount is about right for the working time, and you can carry the tray in one hand.
I’ve been binge watching your videos, you two are so adorable! It’s obviously you are identical twins, what are some ways people use to tell you guys apart?
@ 8:48 is that the owner? Nice house. Kind of reminds me of Mark Wahlberg's house because its HUGE. Glad you were able to help this guy he seems pretty cool.
Hey David & Jimmy, This is Kristin Summers, Traci's sister. Tony Cassetta shared this video. You guys are crazy but what a challenge. If I ever have a rat problem, I know who to call. You guys look great!
Here's a good question- mice/rats dug under garage foundation and the gravel is dug out, now it's cracked and the rodents can be heard in the cinderblocks.
Great classes. I'm picking up rat screen tomorrow. They're coming in through my metal roof peak vent. If I had a camera person I'd make a video. "The Twins Grasshopper".
The workers knew where they were moving, but they didn't know the entry point. The twins found that on their own. While they do deserve praise for being vigilant, the twins deserve the praise for finding such a small entry point and sealing it.
