Awesome video. The tracking analysis/ comparison showed exactly what I've been looking to see- the travel and jostling of the suspension, bike, and rider before and after suspension work. If anyone thinks tuning suspension isn't worth it, they need to see this!

This is a great video. Ive always heard suspension matters, but never have seen such a clear demonstration. SUBSCRIBED!!

Awesome video now I understand this fork does need work to make it right. By the way whats the music playing? Its awesome!

Hmmmm how come on the video the rear suspension sticks to the ground much much better too? Has that been re-valved as well? Thought this was only about the fork so would expect the rear end to behave somewhat similarly between the 2 vids, but it behaves completely different just like the forks... Also the oscillation of the rear fender looks slightly different (quicker on smooth suspension video, indicating video speed was slowed down less?). But I guess if shock was worked on that could explain it... Was shock fixed with re-valve only?

Juncki, the answer is really simple. A much more compliant front will not upset the chassis too much and hence the whole bike is performing better suspension wise.

A bad front end affects the rear more, the good set up complemented the shock in same form

Sorry, but when you compare the two suspension setups by tracing a line on the forks, we don't know if the speeds the bikes were going is the same, and what we can see is that the rider is squid-riding on the standard setup - body right over the rear of the bike, taking the weight off the forks, whereas on the tuned bike he adopts a better position. I'm not saying the fork tuning is useless or doesn't work, but I find it hard to believe KTM and WP could honestly get it SO wrong. Do you think they don't have anyone who works for them who understands these systems, who can't figure out the things you guys have figured out? I need more information and demonstrations from non-biased people, people without a conflict of interest to see the tuning as beneficial (which doesn't make them bad people, it's human)

Well WP did get this fork so wrong.. It took many clever people like Dave to work it out so they could make it work for the masses diverse tastes..
Plugging bleeds , deativating refill valves, removing checks, omitting or modifying bottoming bullets so as not to cause failures due to pressure spikes within the cartridge... All needed to be changed so that the fork could function reliably and with some degree of control!!
And i havent even touched on the cartridge rod/ base valve port ratio....😜
Intsead of criticism leveled at Dave & tuners like him, how about you watch and learn before sticking your foot in your mouth!!

I just bought a 2014 Husaberg TE 300 used. The front end is harsh.( I am a C rider 60 yo) I didn't know this when I bought it, and from the youtube video reviews I watched I expected a killer suspension. Now we are going to go spend $$$ to get it right.

Today as well over 2 years ago, 4CS fork’s poor engineering has created a cottage industry of companies improving the 4CS’s original design...Stillwell, RaceTech...google theses and other companies and read their reviews by riders who bought their products and services. More importantly, have you ever ridden a 4CS fork?

They build a fork to a cost, so they can sell it with margin. It's economics v engineering

They're shit. I ride one. It's shit. Should be enough proof of then being shit.
