Hi, thank you for sharing this video. Do you have video with the ABLE suffix. I am having hard time with some pronunciation. Thank you , you are doing great job.
Hi Hadar, Can you make a video about other suffixes and their influence on word stress? I know prefixes don't influence the placement of the word stress. Thank you.
I noticed one mistake in previous video which was deleted, there was not the letter R in the word controversial. I even wanted to write in the comments below about it. Probably it is the reason why this video was re-uploaded. Am I right? Thank you for your job, I appreciate it very much!
Hey Hadar i speak 2 languages fluently, but now i am building my English to the fluent level. My Second Language is kind of Similar to Hebrew and sometimes my head does not accept what native people say in English. For Example the questions like "What are you say? ," "What is your name ?" .... i hear like "Wachyou say", or "whichyour name" kind of sound but i could not use it because still it is not clear sound.Could you say something about it please. Thank You Hadar!
Thanks a bunch! coach how the americans pronounce the ED ending plus the TH sound ? I called the doctor . and I call the doctor. if we say these two sentences fast, what's the difference between them ? Should I cancel the ed in"called the " or not ? IF so , it's sounds like " I call the doctor ". I am confused . please help me !
Matthew Shi I have the same question. It seems to me that both are pronounced the same way and the difference comes from the context. But I'm not sure. Let's hope someone help us out. Haha
Native speaker here- I can’t help as well as she can, because I’m not as good a teacher, but I will do my best. From what I noticed, it seems like “call the” And “called the” have the same basic sound (so if you were speaking really, really fast, there’s barely a noticeable difference). Actually, there’s only a slight difference anyways. In “call the”, you just go straight from “ll” to “th”. In “called the”, your tongue stops behind the teeth for a second on your way between the two sounds, and for just the briefest second, you have that flap d sound. Then, your tongue continues its forward movement, and you pronounce the short, voiced “th” sound. So the sound, with stressing, tends to sound like “kAAld’the, with the capital letters being stressed, and with the last e dropping to a schwa

Does the word "controversial" have aa sound (as in father) in it? What is first a sound in the first syllable?
the first link suggest the "ity" suffix
amazing 👑
Is the /c/ in 'controversial' aspirated?
could please help me in pronunciation of the these words: murder iron
Thx
in the word editorial why you don't consider the "t" as a flap t and pronounce it as d like ed' d'r ial?
👍
Southern USA - we don't have a dark l; always light ( liquid ).
