I teach using just one of many accents in the world. Please only learn it if you like it and if you are interested in learning it. I do not believe there is one “correct” accent or manner of pronunciation and I fully encourage EFL/ESL learners to expose themselves to as many varieties of English around the world to become accustomed to the beautiful variations of this world language. I focus mostly on teaching “Modern RP” (I may just say “RP” in my older videos, but to clarify, I do specifically mean “Modern RP”), however, you will hear a lovely little Yorkshire twang to my accent from time to time too. Please LOVE and BE PROUD of your accent. After all, it is part of your identity and makes you unique. 💚

wonderful
It's still a little bit easy for me 😊
Thanks Emma ❤
Very grateful for that very gracious gift! WLB from Germany 🌹 (Hope not to many mis-spellings it it 🙃)
Too many times I've had a little bit difficulty when pronouncing "entrepreneur" and "temperature". In the dictionary the symbolic pronunciation helped me do the pronunciation, but you clarified more precisely the correct pronunciation. Even "Asia" sounds different now. And it's hard to find the correct pronunciation when you don't hear the exact way to do it. Reading is good when it comes to learn a foreign language, but listening is important because it's like the compliment to achieve great results.
Thank you very much for your great support to many of us users in your channel. I learn a lot with you.
For me it is entrepreneur, the most difficult to pronounce.
Thank you very much ma'am for for teaching us like this.❤
Hello Emma, I truly appreciate your English accent; it’s quite pleasant to hear.
aww thank you!

hello
Hello Dear Emma! tkanks for the all lessons. You are one of the best english teacher I have ever seen
I'm so glad to be your student. You're warm-hearted and really beautiful. Basically your lessons always give us an extra point which make us feel like learning more and more.
Thanks a lot 🖒
Irrespective of what you are learning - the more you learn - the more you will realize how little you really know. Therefore - learning is a life long process.
There is nothing more stupid and arrogant than people who wave their University Diplomas as the "proof" that they are intelligent. Forgetting - that they passed those yesterday.
Thanks Emma for this great lesson. You have provided crystal clear explanations in each lesson. Honestly, I have improved my pronunciation by watching your lessons. I highly recommend you videos to every English learners.
Keep it up.
You're very welcome!

Great teaching ❤🎉
What is the difference between affect, effect, Impact, influence, motivation and inspiration..
Thanks a lot for showing the correct pronunciation and for the advice you have given. I am just a bit curious about number 8. Was it a word ending in -ous like nervous, famous or precious? A lot of people mispronounce these words because of the ending, which can be confusing for most beginners (they tend to say ner-vee-oos or presh-oos).
Yup! I have a full video all about this ending too. You could check it out!
Thank you ❤❤❤
Wonderful teaching...Stay blessed ❤

I was waiting for your video since a week.
Thank you so much Miss Emma
I have to use either of them, depending on whether I meet American or British people. However, I was taught British pronunciation when I was in primary school.
Nice!! 🇬🇧
Very sweet talking
This video is very informative to me ❤
Very interesting 🧐🤔
Hi Emma)😊
I prefer to say "schedule" in British version because I like British pronunciation more)❤
Fortunately all of these words I know and can say them correctly)
Now it's your favourite season going on!🤗 I like Autumn too, especially October when the leaves get red and yellow which creates a really colourful picture!👍 I like taking photos of nature during this time) But my absolute favourite season is winter!❄I enjoy skating and skiing) And just waling in a park when the trees are covered with snow is fantastic!👍
Thanks 🎉

My favourite pronunciation teacher😊
Thank you! :)
Hello Emma... Thank you for the lesson. It's nice to see those beautiful eyes once again.
Nice ❤ thanks
I am watching from India but I like your all videos ❤❤❤
Thanks Emma! Very interesting, as always 😊
I've learnt a few of them, I was wrong with "southern", "entrepreneur" and "foreing". As it usually happens, the spelling tends to confuse me a little bit...
However, the "temperature" one is not completely clear to me. A few dictionaries (for example Cambridge, Oxford learner's, Collins, CUBE and wordreference) transcribe the second vowel of "temperature" as a schwa instead of an I. I was wondering if this may be dependent on the accent, as it is the case of the "bath" and "strut" vowels, which are different in northern accents.
Cheers!
A schwa or /I/ are both absolutely fine for "temperature" as it's a weak syllable anyway, so don't worry about that :)
Thnx! 😊
Oh my God I'm Brazilian and yestarday I listened a American teacher, this Brit. Teacher it's to much diferent.
But I love it, listen diferents teachers and diferents accents
Kisses and see you
This is my second attending your good video.from India
3:52 🏴, as Sch, gives more logic (As in German 'Sch' is ʃ)
But we also have "scheme" with /ski:/, so....
@Pronunciationwithemma Yeah, right 🤔
No logic can be applied here, I think 😭🤣
@@Pronunciationwithemma You are right
Most Beautiful!!!
Grazie Mille Cara❤
If I'm into British English there's no other way to getaway with second pronunciation of schedule because I more likely to go with second pronunciation of schedule respectively 😊😅!
But we use BOTH in the UK ;)
Hello emma, thanks ya for your sharing, i like
Wonderful
Cheers!
Grateful
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ wow great
Thanks a lot dear mam
Genial, thanks thanks thanks
Good work
Great tips, well presented. But why not go with 'stronger stress'? It's metaphorically sound. A 'level of stress', however, should be higher or lower, not stronger or weaker.
I think I had a brain fart and it felt weird when I said it. I was VERY tired and filmed 4 videos that day. 🤣
@@Pronunciationwithemma I love brain farts, but you should never blame yourself. A coffee deficit can explain anything.
I am india emma mem❤❤❤❤❤best teacher
awesome ♥️♥️
Thank you. The word nomber 2 needs more practice. I have a question, how can I join your pronunciation class? Is registration currently available?
@@johnahmad6276 The best is to subscribe to her email list. A few days ago it was opened again. The registration isn't always opened so you won't know about it unless you subscribe to her email list by downloading one of her PDFs :)
I personally wish I could join but it's about 300 and something dollars a month :/
Our brilliant Emma 😅
new learning: va sound in throughout, temperature has only three sounds
First! 🇷🇺💝🇬🇧 (I prefer the British version of the word schedule, and for me the entrepreneur is the hardest word)
don't you find it difficult? 😅
@@Pronunciationwithemma I've already found it! And I will try to pronounce all British words correctly! Because I love your country and this accent. It's awesome! 😉👌
Very easy
Welcome, the most beautiful and best English pronunciation teacher in the world 😍 You teach so well that all the words come easily, but when I don't repeat them, I forget.😊 Have you been to Turkey?🇹🇷 Have you been able to visit the beauties where the sea, the magnificent sunset, history and green meet? Kuşadası, Ephesus, Antalya, Marmaris, Gökova, Butterfly Valley, Fethiye, Aspendos, Perge ancient cities and the Bosphorus tour by ferry, island tour... Of course, it is not possible to visit in a few days! I wish I could take you around 😔 but I got sick, thank God I'm better now. Even though I can't study English, I watch your videos because your voice, smile and eyes are worth a lifetime...❤💛💐
We only went to Istanbul as it was a brief stopover before heading back home :)
@Pronunciationwithemma
Even Istanbul cannot be visited in a short time. They have amazing beauty. There was a daily Bosphorus tour, very affordable 4€. Have you visited Hagia Sophia Mosque and Museum, Blue Mosque, Maiden's Tower, etc.? There is a history in Istanbul. I hope you will come again, Türkiye is a hidden paradise. There are wonderful places where blue and green embrace...
Yes I was there for 4 days and visited them all. :)
Hello mam
your voice is very cool
I want to learn
will you teach me ?
There are many students to mispronounce them.
Also I am.
Thank you very much for making correction.
I think one of the toughest words to say in my case is "vulnerability"
Please make a differentiative video on British and Indian Accent.
Emma, if you like visiting to Thailand , you can come.❤❤❤
I was just there! :D
@@Pronunciationwithemma your sound is perfect
Juzt Wow!❤❤❤
My takeaway from this lesson is I wrongly pronounced the word foreign all the time! I will work on it from now on.
I believe no one can exact pronunciation like the native speaker if he or she is not a native speaker. Non native speakers cannot pronounce words like a native speaker. So it is more okay to pronounce just pretty well so that people who are in front of you just can understand what you are saying. So don’t take too much stress on you for exact pronunciation.
Pronunciation is vital. Sounding native should never be the goal unless you're an actor or a spy.
A word Whistle some people said histle what is correct one above first mam?
beautiful
Hello emma you miss 1 number for the eight so we just learn 9 word😅 but its okey because your pronounce so clear I love very much
