Great job Craig. Fucking love Maiden! I played this tape so much it broke. I heard Scott rip some high rock notes like this but never an entire song. I wonder if he could pull it off.

    Sweet.
Can clearly see how you are using those jaw positions.
    Feels weird to apply though.
Eager to learn more from you.
    Thanks

Amazing. I’m a huge fan of tenor metal singing and operatic tenor singing and am very impressed with your prowess in both styles. If I may ask a couple questions: I am curious what you would call the salient differences between what you DO (technically only) from one to the other, and, do you think it would be possible to bounce between the two styles in the same show and get through it physically while still being able to make the appropriate sound you want for each style? Thank you for your time.

      hello Aaron,
so sorry i missed this ! thank you for your kind words . in my experience, the vocal cord setup seems to favor the vocal setup you have put them in for that day. in other words, if i have many opera students that morning and need to do a lot of demonstrating, that setup uses the whole cord and is obviously heavier. therefore, my vocal setup tends to stay that way for the day. If i have a metal show to do that night, i try not to do any operatic demonstrations and stick with my metal warm up, which tilts the thyroid and uses only the edges of the cords. if i am only teaching that day, i only have to do short, controlled demonstrations, so i can switch back and forth. if i had an operatic engagement that night, i would not do my metal warm up and vice versa. i must point out that this is my experience only . Yours might be different depending on your age and experience and development. please feel free to email anytime at csirianni3@yahoo.com.

Well, that's real cross over.........operatic tenor goes nuts😂, heavy metal that is.... could Bocelli do that?

Probably not simply because he wasn't trained that way. I was lucky enough to have the best operatic instructor (LoMonaco, and the best heavy metal teacher (Tony O'Hora).
