Oh yay, I’m glad you liked Sheets! I still need to read it :) 👻. Sounds like you had a good month of reading for April. I appreciate that are honest about the books you don’t like so we can steer clear from them 😆. My favorite book in April was The Comfort Book by Matt Haig and I was actually inspired to grab it from the library because I had heard you talking about how you really liked him as an author in one of your videos I had recently watched! ✨
Sheets was so cute!! Thanks for mentioning it in a video. :) I mean, I usually try to be nice about a book that wasn't for me. Unless, of course, it scars me deeply. lol The Comfort Book is such a sweet read. Glad to hear you enjoyed it! :) Thanks for watching! :)
Christopher Moore definitely had a very weird sense of humor that you either love or hate. I’m childish enough to love him, especially You Suck 😝😂 it has the best opening line! Though I do love his summary of 10 commandments in Lamb. 😂 Would’ve bugged me to no end not to get a proper resolution of a mystery. I hate when the book builds something up then by the end doesn’t deliver it 🤬 Hotel Silence sounds messed up but interesting. Woooo Amazonia! Hopefully May turns out well! We’re only a few days in and we’ve got nerdy Star Wars day! 😊
Yeah, the book didn't deliver a clear resolution. I was the only thing I really didn't like about the book, but it was a big thing. Hotel Silence was an interesting find, but not good enough to hold onto. lol I liked Amazonia, but it wasn't my favorite Rollins. My May has been a bit rough so far, but it should improve soon. Hope your reading is going well! Thanks for watching! :)
@@Man-With-a-Hat-Who-Reads yeah it’s definitely a big thing. To me it’s like saying it was due and sending it to the printers instead of actually finishing writing the book and having it be delayed a bit. I think your first book of a favorite author gets a few nostalgia points that always boosts it over others, so I’ll forgive you for being wrong about Amazonia not being the best 😝😂 May really is starting out kinda rough. I haven’t had any full on bad, but im not blown away by anything yet either. Hope it picks up for everyone soon! 😊
@@gingerbibliophile My first Rollins was Map of Bones, and I agree with you on the first book getting the nostalgia points. :) I've had less time to read so far, which hasn't been great, but also one of the books I have been working on has been... Bad. Like really bad. Like rant-review incoming bad. ;p So I have that going on. ;p
I've had very little time to read, but now i have 150 pages written of my novel. Channels like yours made me take the decision.
Congrats on the writing progress!! I really need to get back into my writing as well. Maybe someday...Thanks for watching! :)

Kind of sounds like a man called Ove and that’s one of my favorite book🎉
