Bravo! Sidekick is a "terminate-stay-resident" program that remains in memory after you start it. You can pop it up over other programs with a hot key, usually CTRL-ALT.
Really good video, never knew these screens could be fixed, wow good job!
Love your channel keep up the good work! From Sweden RB Retrobunker
Nice work on both major problems!
Nicely done!
Great video✌
I feel your pain in the polariser application 😅. I see my local hardware sells applicator fluid for tint film application, but I’m reluctant to try on my PB 540c in fear of ruining another piece of polariser. It’s certainly a tricky manoeuvre!
My first laptop was one of these... long after I didn't need it anymore, it became a dumb terminal running Telix at an ISP I worked for.
"applicator fluid" is just distilled water with a very tiny amount of soap in it, it makes the water "wetter" and it sheets better. You can get a spray bottle, fill it with water and add a drop of dish soap, and that should be fine. Also, some of these films that you buy, the protective covers on the film can change the angle of the light, so you should test for that by cutting off a corner and using that for rough alignment after you peel off both protective films.
Did you try the power pack that came with that laptop your very good fixing and showing us how to do it thank you Mery Christmas and New Year to you
Man you are really skilled at these kind of repairs, I have a (to me) super interesting Tandy/ RadioShack PDA that has a 808186, boots dos and runs a bunch of applications written by a startup called palm computing. Sadly the device has stopped functioning and I lack the skills to repair it, would you attempt it?
does it have mimetic polyalloy and can it turn into knifes and stabbing weapons.
just don't connect it to the internet it might still become self aware@@toni7868
Hello,
could you repair my old zenith 325s if I send it to you ?
My timeline is a little bit stretched and it depends on what's going on with them, but I can't imagine them being too bad
