Your Toshiba T1000 videos is how I found your channel back in the day. I’ve got both the T1000 and T1200. As you know, the power supply capacitors are a pain to replace and they leak and destroy the tiny traces nearby.
In my laptops, lamination only affects the polarizer sheet and the glue used to bond it. It's just a case of getting a polarizer sheet, find the angle and glue it. I managed to remove the glue and old polarizer with the help of a sharp blade. But haven't managed to buy the replacement sheet yet. Maybe if would be better to just place the polarizer on top of the screen when you use it, and skip the gluing part, as it will happen again in thirty years.
Great video. I have a T4400C laptop, unfortunately it has a cracked screen. Was surprised when I opened it up to find a full sized 486 33 installed in a ZIF socket. Looking forward to the XT boards. How's the Amstrad 1512 doing?
OMG That's the same model I need to finish trying to fix... Could you do me a massive favour and measure the voltages on the PSU when its not connected to the mainboard and stuff? eg. just powered by the PSU connection.

Yea no problem its still out on the bench, i'll try to put you a quick video up showing all voltages coming off the PSU PCB.
Mate, I need your help. I have this exact machine but I'm having a real lot of trouble finding a new battery for it. A t ideas mate?
