Modified one of the truggys to do “20”mph. Walmart has a jeep “safari racer” they boast a speed of 20. You can remove the rear end of each car and reattach the safari onto the other.
I bought the TR28 Truggy for indoor practice while I'm away from the States for two years. Best indoor basher. It's taken a ton of hits that would have totally killed something like a Mini-T. It's an awesome car for the money. For a sample experience of one, I give the 28's two thumbs up.
I could see doing some indoor drag racing with those if you could find some tires that grip indoor 👍👍

I have the ST28 and honestly $60 is way too much money for it. It's very cheaply made. It's fun to play around with but it should be closer to $20-$30.

Synchronized drifting. That was pretty cool. I would do to my kids the same thing Melissa was doing to you. Those are definitely a little too slow for my liking but they are definitely something I could get for my nephew

I got mine as soon as associated had them on there site lol my son has the sc28 so I knew what I was getting now we can drag race in the hallway at our house this winter 🥶

These ones make me sad. Team associated has the history and skill to make moddable and competitive hobby quality 28th scale rcs, but instead they released vehicles that similar quality from Walmart are like 20 bucks or less.
Theyre toys, but they could have been a mini z competitor. T.T. associated, if you ever read this id GLADLY help you design and release a real 28th scale worthy of your name...
Ya know what...screw it. Im semi-retired due to my disabilities anyway, and I've got both kinds of 3d printer... I think I WILL design a line of 28th scale rc cars. Maybe I can send ya one when I get it designed and printed. :)

9mph?... I just installed tamiya light dash mini 4wd motor into cheap 1/24 scale rc car and it goes 9mph.
Of course with total cost of 10$
I'm hoping some company to release proper 1/28 rc drag car with at least over 20mph out of box.
