5 years later. Still listening, still killing it. This is definitely one of the most underrated Slipknot songs, if not the most. This song is amazing. This whole album is amazing.
Personally, I have heard almost no negativity about this album, with most critics and fans praising the fuck out of it. I feel the same and think they deserve it, and this album was practically all I listened to for about 8 months after it was released. I don't think Slipknot has ever made a bad album, and the one I consider their "weakest", All Hope Is Gone, I still find endlessly enjoyable. It's like listing your top 5 favorite foods, something no one does because who gives a shit? They are all delicious! What I personally find better about this album is how they somehow replaced two endlessly talented band members during a tough time and managed to create a batch of songs to rival their best work! Most bands would have been lucky to create anything that didn't turn out to be fertilizer. For me, I found the stand-out to be Jay Weinberg, who had enormous shoes to fill stepping in for a legendary drummer considered by some fans to actually be God. I had to reattach my dick after he blew it off (no homo) during my first listen, and I actually find him to be an improvement and refreshing, which I had never thought possible before then. The most negative review I've heard was from Anthony Fantano as he found it decent, but his explanation shows they don't fit his taste of music and not really a knock against the band.
When people says this album is their worst record or their most boring, etc…It really makes me think if that people actually likes metal or what the hell is wrong with them. I mean, everyone has its own taste but this is arguably Slipknot’s heaviest album since Iowa, so I don’t know what they really want in a Slipknot album
Who tf says that??? BORING??? 🗿It also confuses me that some fans just don’t know what they want with slipknot anymore… most of what I see is people wanting the next Iowa but why does there need to be another iowa? And I LOVE iowa!
reality check for those fans...there will never be another iowa. good artists music evolves and doesn't revisit something they've already done. if they're looking for a band whos sound doesn't change, they should try ac/dc.

The most underrated Slipknot album ever. Everyone just jumps on the bandwagon of hating it because this was the start of their "new" era with Jay and Alex and the funny thing is, most people who hate it have heard maybe just two tracks from the whole album. It's a shame really.

That it's a bass? Fuck God... Amazing
Well it actually starts around 3:18 (the bass part) but I love how it slows down starting at 3:00
Didn't really like this song that much at first, but hadn't listened it long enough yet to get to 03:00 and man it sounds so great.. Starting to get into it :).
It's been said that Donnie Steele also helped with Bass on the album
That is true! But secretly I'm hoping that it was Mick that played bass on this track because Mick is my favorite member of the Knot!
Nothing like a little Slipknot in the morning! I am serious.... Don't ask.
+Leeann Kiger welcome to the club
Good to know I'm not alone!
You are not alone, my alarm noise is Custer through headphones on my iPad.
Ok did not want to no that, but sorry for that.
yep. I wake up hearing corey talking then while I am only half awake I have custer at full volume. Great fun ruining my eardrums :D
*WE ARE THE ANGELS FEAR TO TREAD* my favourite amoment of this entire song, the fact that a keg gets hit and it jut breaks back into the heaviness, GOD I LOVE THIS SONG
''My god it would've taken just one word to stay from you '' is my favorite most powerful lyric from this song because it would've taken one word to stay away from the fucking people that dragged me down in life
