- Today I show you how I dyed my hair to Lime Crime's new #UnicornHair shade 'Oyster' - which is a really pretty gray toned lavender. Their shades are easy to use, colors are consistent, and they fade evenly. Let me know if you have any questions - this is just a little tutorial on how I use their tints, which fade in a few washings.

Dyed and gone to Unicorn Heaven! Lime Crime Tints’ ultra-conditioning formula leaves a light wash of color to add a kick of cool to your hair. Pastel, muted and lighter shades are in the tints range.

Works best with pre-bleached platinum to pale blonde hair

Always do a patch & strand test beforehand
I am not a color professional, so please speak to a colorist if you have questions. These work best on super light blonde/platinum hair. Also, if you are using a permanent/darker shade - I suggest wearing gloves (this is a tint, which doesn't stain!)

How long did the colour last? and once it washed out did it return to your normal hair colour?

What happen if you put it over medium brown/ brassy hair color??
It will not show as pastel and has the potential of not showing up. On orange hair the pink tint made my hair rose gold

ashley langlois hi Ashley, this is a grayish silver color! Just keep washing it if you don’t like the way it turned out, I can promise you it will fade and wash out with hot water and a deep cleaning shampoo :)

So you’re not even gonna mention the fact that you put extensions in your hair and dyed those as well and it’s not the same color? lol
I dont think I need to mention it - if you have eyes you can clearly see the length is short before...clearly i added extensions. You don't need to mention every little thing -sometimes you can just use your eyes, skills of logic and deduction to know extensions were added in the after shots. Extensions dont absorb the hair dye the same way as porous hair does, so yes, they will not be an exact match. You know what I think? I think if you dont have anything worthy to add, you should just not say anything at all or risk looking like a TROLL. Thank you!

@@RachelVega143 What a sassy reply for something that actually does matter! Because people are coming to this video to see how this hair dye works before using it themselves... and people DO use the dye on their extensions too! So, if the dye wasn't the same on your extensions, then you should say so, so that people don't use it and end up with mismatched hair. Many dyes DO end up matching on extensions, but clearly not this one. Not everyone knows "extensions don't absorb the dye the same way", and obviously it IS an important point, otherwise you wouldn't have responded to this person with a paragraph of brand new information you didn't include in your video.... Someone pointing out the color mismatch does not make someone a troll, and it's really immature of you to reduce it down to that.
