I regularly bleach my hair out to platinum from a natural deep ashe-blonde (looks brown to me). I highly recommend Lime Crime's "Bleach Party" kit in the 20 Volume. It's easy to mix, and has a similarly subtle scent (still smells a little), unlike so many other bleach kits or mixes. And has not made my hair disintegrate! Since I like to go for the full Silver-Platinum effect, I also use a purple toner/protein filler to help minimize the stretchy-ness that each strand has after being bleached. Redken's 'Acidic Bonding Concentrate' line (waaay scarier sounding than it actually is) is a HUGE game changer for me, too. It keeps my hair silky and smooth, and also helps maintain the color. Plus, the entire line smells like grapefruit. Colors are fun! And if anyone asks me why I do it, I just tell them 'It makes me happy' the same way you did in this video.
So lovely! I’m excited about this one! I’ve still been hooked on Juniper Green, but this looks like I might enjoy it as well. My secret was to buy green business clothes that match my hair. That makes it work, right? I mean I think so….
I love the sea witch green! It looks great on you too! Thanks for this video! Very entertaining as well as a good pointers for someone like me who doesn't have alot of experience dying my own brown hair! Top notch Claire!!
@@WoodshedTheory so helpful! I'm not going to lie, me dying my hair would probably look very messy and I would not have thought about sectioning either lol 🫠
"Wwwwwoooooooowwwwww!" was my literal reaction to how your hair came out. Absolutely stunning and just as beautiful as your personality. Love it! Thank you for sharing your experience. I've had a jar of this exact dye sitting in my bathroom for over a year now and could never bring myself to color my hair thanks to depression. But remembering how happy and ME I feel when my hair is crazy colors is why I'm gonna be returning to it. When you said dying your hair green just makes you happy, it resonated with me so well. I'm getting a haircut sometime soon and then I'll be taking care of myself with a long-awaited coloring session. Thanks for helping to rekindle a part of my spirit that I lost. My only regret is not finding your video when you first posted it. Take care, beautiful ❤ New subscriber for sure!
I saw the movie Hook as a child and was fixated on the green haired mermaid for so many years. After seeing one of your videos for lunar tides I tried the Juniper Green and loved it. I have a local Sally's and am happy to have an alternative when I can't wait for an online order to enjoy my green hair dreams
That was awesome! You look amazing in sea witch! I've never dyed my hair and probably won't but this video was fantastic - I learned a lot and you made me laugh a few times, which made my day. Thanks Claire! ❤
Oooooh I LOVE the colour! I've been loving dying my hair bright red for the last year. The vibrant colour makes me so happy too. I'm thinking about a turquoise or teal though. Might see if I can get unicorn in that colour in UK and give it a try. Thanks for sharing your research. I also think, seeing your method, I am way too fussy about sectioning my hair. I have to get my wife to do it. Maybe I could do it myself though if I didn't make so many sections. Hope your colour stays for a long time. It looks beautiful and joyful! It suits you well.
I liked your video! Very detailed in your explanations of the product and your process. I’m dying my hair green with lime crime’s unicorn hair in shade meadow later and I’m so nervous! But I think I’m more excited now lol 😁💚
I love these videos! I get to vicariously live through you. The color is incredible!!!! Also why do people think green is for Halloween? Green is for all times of the year! It’s the best color!!!!!!
You inspired me 💚 Ive been struggling to cut and dye my hair for awhile now and this is the inspiration I needed. I went with the brand Good Dye Young in the colour Move Mountains.. highly recommend! Thank you for sharing; your hair looks absolutely beautiful!💚
I was between this color and the mystic (blue shade) but I still had a tiny bit of red in mine after color oops, so I figured the blue was a safer bet...I'm definitely trying this color next though, its s pretty! My hair is lighter than yours (light brown) and the fact that this brand covers so well is impressive without lightening. I never bleach mine and the blue showed up great as did the the valentine (red shade) that I tried last. Its pricey since my hair is below the shoulders so I have to use a full bottle but it covers more with just one bottle I've found than other brands.
I dye my hair purple because it makes me feel happy when I see it. There's so much about my appearance (and the world) that I dislike, and having my hair look how I want makes me feel better. There are a lot of hair videos on UA-cam that can help you with the bleach part, but tbh I hate bleach, too. It burns my scalp after 5 minutes and then I have to deal with a scabby & peeling scalp. But it looks like you probably won't need bleach! (My bedding is stained with hair dye and I've just kind of accepted it lol.)
which volume did you use? depending on your hair color(idk abt texture) yours looks a bit brighter than mine(maybe the lights idk) try one that’s not as intensive as vol 30 try it on in a single strand of hair(bunch it up with your fingers idk😭) really really small and see how it looks. also never dye ur roots first dye the bottom then the distance between that and ur roots (leave an inch or 1.5 from the roots till that) THEN dye ur roots
hi i'm not sure i can answer your question because i didnt lift my hair for this - i just used the direct pigment dye on my hair. i do have lifted tips from two years ago
I had to shave my head one because I bleached my own hair. Just destroyed it. I also change my hair color like my moods 😂 but my colors are very muted cuz I need a good bleach but refuse to do it myself. My hair is to my waist so it’s just been too expensive for me to get done 😢

That's beautiful!! I can't believe how well it covered the dark hair! Love this colour on you 😍
i was impressed with that as well
It turned out so nice. Love the colour and the cut!
thanks I was worried to cut off the mullet that was left in the back but it feels so nice

yes if everything is green then there can be no staining lol
It looks really refreshing
I agree! emerald green!
Whoa! Love that it gave such great coverage... I know someone who's looking for green dye. I'll have them check this out. 😀
cool! glad it was helpful
So pretty! My hair is dark brown so I’ve just assumed that dye wouldn’t show up very well on me, but maybe I should give it a go. 🤷🏻♀️😎
yes it covered the grey as well

*gasp* this color is stunning! Might have to try it after I finish my lunar tides juniper!
I LOVE Lunar Tides greens as well! I have several videos of those!
Your videos on Lunar Tides are actually what gave me the guts to blindly buy it online and try it! Finding a good green dye was surprisingly hard.
Looks amazing !
Thanks Crystal!
Oh my gosh… it’s absolutely stunning on you! 🥰
thanks have you ever tried a fashion color?
No… I have such dark hair that I doubt it would take very well. But it looks like this brand stood up to the test!
it'd have to grow some hair before I could dye it. 🤫 I just read that Sia is now claiming to be Autistic! Glad to catch your post, Ms. Claire.
Thanks for the comment - Yeah i think i'll just leave Sia to do her own thing. Everyone has a different journey.
@@WoodshedTheory You're a kinder person than I, Ma'am. ☮
That’s gorgeous! I need to redo my purple and might have to try this brand next.
enjoy!
Lovely colour & really suits you.
I've never tried hair colour & now no hair left worthy of the name...
thanks for the compliment!

@Woodshed Theory probably a raspberry pink!

Really pretty green on camera I bet it looks even better irl. I do T know how die would do on white hair or I would try it out as well.
Well it covered my gray alright but i will keep you posted

Thanks I agree
Omg that color is beautiful!
thanks it is really nice - and the formula smells really nice
It’s so spectacular!
Thank you! It’s really pretty
I used this last December, and my tub is still dyed 😂 About to do it again this week ❤
oh wow! might i suggest (if you have an unpainted tub) the cling on toilet bowl cleaner with bleach in it - that usually helps with the stains for me

hello
Looooooovvveeee
thanks this might be my favorite
Have you ever used Line Crimes Swamp Queen? I am desperately trying to have that perfect mossy color hair 😭
i have not tried that one
wait why do you put coconut oil on your hair prior to dye?
hi i just rub it along the hairline because if they dye gets on it, it is easier to clean off without staining - i dont put it on the hair itself
😊
Yay! 😁
