You two are living the dream should do some fishing when I’m up north next tight lines and wet sleeves
Thank you! 😊 You should definitely get a fishing sesh in if you can!
Love the fact that you're living your dream! I really enjoy the videos and it makes me want to move there lol.
Thank you so much! It's pretty cool to share our experiences living an out-of-the-ordinary lifestyle. It definitely has its challenges as well, but the benefits are worth it!
Great! I thought it was too early for Coho this year, but I found out that the video was shot in the fall of 2021. Congratulations! :)
Thank you! 🙂
Looks just about as busy as the Vedder too. Would be nice to fish there.
It's definitely not as busy as the Vedder! Thankfully.
@AdventuresomeOtters haha yeah, must be nice to only fish with the bears and eagles.
watch for the snags the locals put in to collect free gear
Not sure if that's a joke or not... 🤔😅
Do you bonk them before the stringer?
Absolutely!
I’m going July 8 it’s my first time what should I expect
I’m from Alberta
Can't tell you what you'll catch, but I'm sure you'll have a great time! It's a beautiful area. Good luck! 😀
@@AdventuresomeOtters thanks man appreciate it. Any specific hooks I should be throwing.
@mikewilliams2518 For size, we use 1/0 or 2/0, and be sure to use barbless hooks as per the regulations. You're going at a good time to catch Chinook salmon, and you may also get pinks. Check out Bradley's Bait and Tackle in Kitimat. They can show you the best tackle to use, and you can find our Mustelid Tackle floats and spoons there, too!
@@AdventuresomeOtters you’re an absolute beauty thank you!!
Can you guys get a net? You're giving me heart failure.
Haha! We had broken our net on a fish in a previous fishing sesh. Don't worry though, we have replaced it!
@@AdventuresomeOtters phewph! That's good to hear.
