Ah good observation. The Typhur definitely bounced around more than the ThermaPen and ThermaPro units I've been using. The ThermoPro Lightning also does something similar and I wonder if it has something to do with them reporting temps to the tenth in under a second that results in this. Overall though the temperatures have been very consistent with my ThermaPens.
Love it!…. But needs to be easier to pull in, and out of your pocket!…. Gets hung up!…. And you don’t want leave it out in the open in a kitchen!…. It’s kinda a thief magnet!…. 👍
Ack. I'm sorry to hear that. I've had similar issues across all of my devices including probes from ThermoWorks and ThermoPro. Were you able to find a reliable alternative? I'm wondering if you received a faulty InstaProbe too.
