      Nothing becomes alright :( 20 years ago we wouldn't have needed anyone checking on the seals everyday to save them from all this plastic. But we have polluted this planet so much with our trash, that we need to have people go rounds to save at least a few of all those animals. And then we feel better while at the same time producing tons of plastic garbage everyday and everywhere? Using plastic in masses everyday that is completley unneccessary. But its soooo convenient, and those guys make it right again. Yeah, right :(. All those aninals caught in barbed wire fences WE put up, all those animals living and dying in horrible condition everyday because we need to eat meat everyday that neeeds to be as cheap as possible. We all get angry as hell when we see a dog beeing abandoned, but do not care one bit for the millions of animals we kill everyday. Fact is: most of the humans cause suffering of animals and very few (yes, they are heroes) manage to relieve a tiny little bit :(. Sorry, that is not ment as attack, but to me your sentence sounds like: oh, great, someone is doing something, so I do not have to take care. And that is not how it works. I know we cannot all save animals and environment for a living, but we all could do a damn lot more to make a difference. And i am including myself. I stopped eating meat only half a year ago, far too late, and avoid plastic wherever i can (impossible really, they pack e v e r y t h i n g), but without some serious change in all our consumation behaviour, we are doomed.

      The "carbon footprint" concept is a manipulation tool dreamed up by power-hungry globalists. It has a vague, far-off, non-scientific goal of controlling climate while actually distracting from practical conservation and environmentalism like what is practiced by OCN.

    • @mamabearluv
      @mamabearluv 3 роки тому

      @@binkyxz3 Just so I understand what your saying is that throwing that cig butt out the window of "yours or Joe's Smo's car" or put in your trash bin so it can go to the dump or that plastic bags, bottles, plates, pill bottles, plastic toys, fishing lines, package straps, straws, and all those things that are made out of plastics that man uses and throws away that does not break down like say wood or material made out of 100%
      biodegradable products would, is a concept manipulation tool dreamed up big corp. so that they can keep making crap that does not break down, so humans can continue to buy their products and throw them away when the obsolescence of the said product comes into play so you can go buy another one so the manufacture can make more money? You bought the product and threw it away when it no longer served you, that is a carbon foot print. If there were less products that float around in the oceans that can and do harm there would be less need for humans to have to do what OCN does.

    • @binkyxz3
      @binkyxz3 3 роки тому

      @@mamabearluv Your undertanding of "carbon footprint" [CF] is missing its all-encompassing scope as I understand it. The management of plastics -- recycling, biodegradability, elimination thru other preferred materials, etc is a movement which preceeded CF by decades. Put another way, environmentalism is a tiny sliver of the CF mania which hijacked it. CF is NOT worthy of environmentalism's high standing.
      CF's creeping end goal is to stop all human consumption of carbon despite the fact its essential to humans. You will eat bugs (no burning of any fuel, livestock emit methane which is banned), drink sewage water, live in a 200 sq. ft. solar powered pod, and walk barefoot everywhere you go. It truly is insane. Please investigate.
      As it pertains to OCN, CF would demand they not use plastic nets, nor the frames that support them if produced with carbon-based fuels, nor free the animals with tools produced by the same, nor record it with "plastic" cameras, nor drive their gasoline powered vehicle.
      My fear is environmentalism becomes collateral damage when people revolt against CF.

I drive down roads and see trash all over the place, some will break down but others won't so it will sit on the side of the highways till the local jails take the inmates out to clean it up and then send all that stuff to the land fill because we can' t keep it to ourselves. We are a messy species but we need to get it together if we want a planet to continue to call home or are you of the mind that all living humans will just move out into space to go to another planet to mess up because there is no clean air to breath or clean water to drink on this one?
