Purely Maldives How To Avoid Expensive Mistakes - Westin Miriandhoo

In 32 years of visiting the Maldives - this is the first time I have felt it necessary to advise travellers to avoid an island.
The brochures for Westin Miriandhoo make you believe this is 5 star luxury - however, I know that you can do far better for less money.

It cost me $1050 return for two for seaplane on top of my flights. It seems unavoidable, because the hotel includes this charge to our room rates 😒

Super Critical ... How did that affect your stay. Did u go there to enjoy, the sun and relax on an island....or worry about where the staff stay?

Thanks. My comments were related to how it would affect the visit of a guest.
Purely Maldives have been specialising in Maldives accommodation for over 30 years - so when a hotel group plans a new island so badly, we make sure people are aware of the issues.

For this island you can choose either seaplane or a slightly cheaper domestic plane transfer.
