@@_karenkari His ex label is Chinese and he was supposedly in a group but group could no longer promote as a group. I think because he's in SK he got neglected but he was quite well known before Edam though.
I think he just finally made music more suited for him and it made him shine or he just got more experience...its sad that he had to go to military right after this comeback

You know Luizy, right? You've already reacted to the song a while ago. "Recipe" from Luizy & Flowsik, Luizy and Woodz are the same person, he's all rounder. Luizy is the rapper's stage name of Woodz
WOODZ made his debut almost 10 years ago, he's far from being new. It's just people didn't really took notice of him until he participated in the survival Show "produce X 101" and was voted in to the final 10. That's when people started to slowly get more curious about him, after that he released his EP "Equal" in 2020 (which imo is his best Album to date) that pretty much blew him up to a wider audience, which is how he ended up getting more popular.
