My Tiger 900 RP arrived yesterday! This is the one mod I had purchased prior to delivery - bike specific - and will mount using your tutorial today!. Thanks Larry
Good video, clear instruction, thanks. One tip though. When using locktide... tide everyting up as your final setup before aplying locktide. Then when evrything is in position and fastened, unscrew the bolds you want with locktide, add LT and re-fasten in one time.
I'm doing this right now. One doesn't need to remove windscreen. You just turn your handlebars to one side, put windscreen on lowest position and can also adjust the mirrors itself. It rotates without hitting the screen. Anyway, a great video, following.
@@ManCaveMayhem sorry, but I commented on the wrong video. I watched a couple, and one said to remove windscreen. I actually ended up having issue on the right. I can't align the bar with front break. If I put them at the same level, then that black regulator of the leaver is touching the aluminium thing. But in your video and in others there's no issue for clearance. I guess will try redo somehow it tomorrow. Anyway, your video for sure helped! :)
The upper crash bars are Touratech and the lower ones are the stock Triumph crash bars or engine bars. and I’m running Outback Motortek pannier racks. Hope this helps ride safe my friend.👍🏻
Did you have the right side inner mount upside down at first? Looks like you switched it later in the vid. I had to loosen the brake line and swing it forward. I like my levers angled down and didn’t leave much clearance.
When turning the handlebars fully to the right and left do you have symmetrical clearance between the barkbusters and the TFT display? I find I have about a quarter of an inch clearance when turning to the right and about an inch or more when turning to the left.
Did you get the stock guards off easily? On my 900 RP the arms that attach to the mirror stems didn’t come off at all. For now I’ve unscrewed the guard part but the arm is still there. Not super elegant 😓
@@ManCaveMayhem trawling FB groups and forums I see that most don’t have this problem but I did find one guy who had the same issue. The arm of the factory handguard could not be removed from the mirror mount at all. The advice he was given was to cut it.
Thanks for the video,
Plan on riding a BDR next spring on the 900. I’ll be sure to install these soon.
Be safe my friend keep the rubber side down👍🏻

I hope you’re enjoying the bike. I sure enjoy mine like I said before the Scrambler was nice, but nothing compared to that tiger.

Hey man!! Excellent video, installing my set of barkbusters tomorrow!! Quick questiion, what crash bars are those? I have not seen them before.

I think I did😬
Beautiful bike! Where did you get the brake deposit protector?
They sell them on Amazon👍🏻

Starting to wonder if my fork assembly is slightly twisted out of place.
It may be I think mine is pretty symmetrical🤔
@@ManCaveMayhem thanks!
Hi , are your handlebars central ?
@@colin9967 yes. I think at this point they are bent out of true from a drop I had prior to installing them.
Great video!
Does this handguards make the handle bar less vibrate at high speed ?
No they still get vibey.
No, and the weights don't help much either.

I think mine might be a little different than yours as far as how they are on the bike. I didn’t have a real issue.
