Donor area takes forever to heal. I had 2250 grafts taken from the back. The upper back quadrants are where most of the nerves are. I did no shave so ice and advil is all I have. If you touch the donor your scalp with be activated and it’s more pain than itching. It takes about 5 minutes to settle down. Get some pain meds for the first 10 days. Don’t suffer because everyone is now paranoid to prescribe pain killers. You’ll thank me later. BTW, the graft area is painless until you bump or touch it. The graft areas will be the least of your worries.
I've had 3 transplants and never had to take pain killers. It's very subjective. You should try and not touch any of the areas for the first week or so, except the times when you need to wash or use some sort of moisturiser like aloe vera
Yes, 2nd HT, mainly mid scalp and crown, but also a bit more density into hairline and temple peaks. Really happy with the first one hence why went for another one.
Looking good Rolandas. I found I was the opposite to everyone after I had my procedure - I only experienced itching AFTER using saline or aloe vera. I ditched the aloe completely and used saline very sparingly just for the scabs. I got away without too much annoying itches.
Hey Rolandas! After watching my family tree I found that my mature hairline exactly matches with one of my cousin so do think that I will follow his baldness pattern at the same rate
It's strange as I remember answering to your question, but for some reason YT didn't put my reply... I don't think you will have same gene for hair loss as your cousin as he is too far. Best to look at your father, then at his father and your mothers father.
As long as you want to keep your hair loss from progressing further. As soon as you stop, your hair loss starts again. Hair transplant has nothing to do with hair loss or finasteride/minoxidil.
How many time are you putting aloe vera on your donor area? When I did my HT, I was putting it multiple times per day and my donor area was hitching and burning constantly. As soon as I stopped aloe vera, it was fine.
@@MrRolandas I made sure to buy organic 100% pure aloe vera gel. Don’t get me wrong, it did relieve the hitching and burning when I applied it for 15-30 min, but after that it was even worse and I had to apply it multiple times per day. Applying too much aloe vera can burn the skin.
I've seen people using it. I don't have one and since my surgeon hasn't suggested, I won't be adding it. Last time was everything fine, so I'm sure it will be just fine this time :)
I did the aloe vera in the fridge thing as well, the cooling effect helps a lot.
The live videos you and Dave did during the first week post op were game changers. I’m definitely doing the same after my transplant this summer 👊🏿

It’s hing like crazy. I’ve scratched my did or area so much in my sleep. It feels like fire
honestly i was thinking its only me that feel like that. The most pain i have is on my donor area it feels like burning.
I’m on day 12 and the donor area is still itching horribly! It’s driving me crazy. When did yours stop?? Thanks for the video.
Your appearance looks great and this early stage. Congratulations 👏🏽
Thanks mate! Indeed I'm really surprised!
@@MrRolandas I need a transplant but need a good clinic. After covid19 restrictions, I guess.
Start researching then. There's a lot of good ones, but many more bad ones.
Can’t wait for the oral min content, please explain everything even cutting the pills and all your routine. It would be much appreciated!
Tomorrow 😏
The HT looking good.
Really happy with what I have so far. Let's hope everything will grow back after few months!
@@MrRolandas I will grow for sure. You have one of the best doctors. Even in Mexico hair transplant grows how much more doctor Ferrera.
So this is second HT, was this to address the top of your head? How happy are you with Bruno's work>?

@@MrRolandas That's so cool. I'm going to look into Bruno some more, never heard of him until I saw your vids
Bro can you please document any side effects from the OM? That would be great
For sure. This is an experiment not just for myself but for you guys too
Your donor still looks pretty solid considering they took 6500 grafts!
Indeed. I always say punch size and extraction pattern is the key for donor preservation.
Any tips what to prepare before a hair transplant ?

Not surprised. Some skin can be irritated by little things. At the end it was properly "botched" thousands of times. Takes months to fully heal.
Why start minoxidil? The density is good? Why go tru the hassle ?
There are multiple areas that would benefit from minoxidil boost

Where is the minoxidil video? 😢
Still editing. It's over 16 min video! You've asked for all details! :D
Will be )hopefully) on youtube in 1-2 hours.

@@MrRolandas take your time then
Did you have many hairs come out with the scabs? I’m on day 9 and hairs are coming out with the scabs. Looks like the follicles.
no i haven't had much, but there were some
Tell me how long one should use finasteride and minaxdil after hp?
Never stop
@@MrDeceptacon88 how much time required fr full hair regrowth after hp nd does hair sprout even after 6 months

Rolandas, why Oral minoxidil instead of Topical? That minoxidil is for your crown area?

I'm putting 3 times a day now. It actually is relieving itching.
What kind of aloe Vera was it? There's a lot of bad quality...

Shish, sounds awful! Well, at least you knew what to do in order to avoid it 😁
What is your shampoo bro?
are u still using Propecia 1mg per day?
Yes
How much was it?
About €14,000 for 6500 grafts
@@MrRolandas I need 2000 grafts. How much would it be?
€3/graft- so €6000
is now your donor depleted?
Still have about 2000 grafts (maybe more) if it's extracted carefully.
try hydrocortisone with aloe on the donor?

Hi. When did u stop using the neck pillow and sleep normally?
After 2nd HT about a week
