I love how she just casually says she’s a state officer & that she just casually got a presidential candidate to come to her school lmaoo it’s these youtubers that give me no confidence in getting into a good college lol 😂

Omg, thank you so much Isha! :D And pretty much to do an essay video, you just give tips and read your essay (or you could just tell what you wrote about). :) This video was really helpful, btw! I think this is one of the best ones I've seen! :D
This video called me stupid in 366 ways. I literally did nothing spectacular in highschool. Wasn't a state officer just held local positions. Wish I could go back and redo everything.
Did you send in your ap scores? I am a junior and I am worried about if I will be able to make high scores because we are taking online APS. Is there a minimum for scores that you suggest sending if any?
You said your GPA is around a 3.8 or 3.9; does that mean you got B's? if so, how many? I got a B in French sophomore year and I feel like I'll never get in now because I heard a former admissions officer say getting even one B makes it extremely hard to get in to top universities. So I'd love to know if you got any B's or not
Do you think weighed gpa matters more that unweighted during the admissions process? I have a low unweighted(3.6) but a weighed gpa of 4.27. Thank you and congrats on stanford!!!
To my belief, unweighted GPA is more heavily weighed in the application process, because some students have more access to AP Classes, etc., which would make it unbalanced to look at weighted GPA. So, unweighted GPA is more fair/streamlined/whatever you want to call it, and that’s why I would assume that it is more heavily looked at during the admissions process. But, I would recommend reaching out to the counselor(s) at your school, their professional opinion is more valuable than my non-professional opinion. That said, having a high weighted GPA should still help you! I’m in the same boat LOL, I have a 3.85 and a 4.3.
i was thinking of joining color guard and i was wondering, do you think it was stressful being in color guard while also doing all the clubs and jobs? i can join at my hs for pe credit but I'm not sure if it's worth it
It can definitely be stressful at times but it's all about managing your time well! I personally thought it was worth it because I really enjoyed performing but the experience can be different for everyone :)
