My favorite camera of all time, still shoot it today since buying it new in 2012. I love the handling of the body, it's built like a tank and the images it produces still wow me.
I can see the d700 blushing after this review 😊 For me, the d700 has a soul. It’s a camera for photographers. No video!

I agree with this video. Outstanding camera. I own the D3, D700, and two D300 cameras. This is my favorite era in Nikons digital chronology.

Thank you so much for the video. I bought a D700 a couple of years ago as my first full frame and have been very pleased with the images. You’re right. It makes me want to go out and take more photos.

Fantastic video Babar, I have had my D700 now for approx. 3 months and am loving it ! Your video made me smile as I can easily relate to the feeling you have for your D700. Mine had 3900 shutter count on it when I got it and I simply can't get enough of using it.

Thank you for the video Babar. Appreciate your thoughts and honest opinion about the D700. Would love to see more sample photos of the D700. I have a D3 and I like the color profiles from the camera. I may purchase a D700 just because I want a smaller body (with the same color profile as the D3) to carry around.

Update - bought a D700. Excellent, just what I was looking for. Having fun pairing it with a 50mm AIS lens.
great video! Bought mine new over a decade ago. The images it produces like you said are something very special. My only con these days is the heavy weight and no flip screen. As you get older it makes taking some shots more of challenge.
I agree with you all the way . Lacking on tilting screen is a big issue when you get arthritis.

The greatest era of digital cameras, D3, D700, D300s still own to this day. Well i bought them in very good condition, for cheap man. This cameras i won’t ever sell, i might sell my fujifilm cameras but not these Nikon legends.

Great video. I’ve just bought a clean D700 with 20,000 shutter count and original packaging. I sold my previous D700 3.5 years ago and have had D3X, D3S, D4 since then. When the D700 arrives later today, I’ll set up AF fine tune and then I can compare the D700 & D3S output from identical studio portraits with all settings and lenses the same. It will be interesting. 😊

Hi! Are the sensors different between the D700 and the D3/D3s? Is there a big difference in image quality? Thank you
@@jd5787 I believe the D3/D700 sensor is the same but with a different processing pipeline (& firmware.) The D3S hand a new updated sensor in 2009.

I'm going to have to set up my Nikon D-7ooFX full frame camera body learning the camera inside and out learning Photography exposure composition nailing focus and different angles high's rule of 3rd's etc. etc. etc. Go Go D-700FX!!!

does anyone know a good brand of batteries to get for the d700 im mostly after the enel4
I suggest to use original/third party battery grip for Nikon D700 and use AA batteries chamber to operate the camera. This is the best way to keep using the Nikon D700 without worrying about batteries. I suggest to use rechargeable batteries so you keep charging and use them. Of course this will make camera significantly heavier but it's the best option for the unlimited battery supply.
Great videos... How would you compair the d700 and the d200 if we look at image quality? I know d200 is crop but the last ccd sensor and sensor of the D700 is panasonic....I own a d600 and looking for a second body. Thanks

D700 got the same sensor from D3 but with different SNR firmware.

Why your voice shifted from low to high?
I lost my one vocal cord in a throat surgery that happened 11 years ago. It’s paralyzed now due to doctor mistake. It’s like you are trying to run on both legs but one leg is paralyzed so you are dragging yourself. So now I am talking with one vocal cord only, still it’s not stopping me to speak my heart out.
