If you are used to OPEN TX then it is simple. Watch my episode #9 of FPV FOR BEGINNERS and it will show you the radio setup for a drone so you can see how easy it is.
It is the best beginner radio. You know what receiver you have because when you buy an FPV Drone you have to pick what receiver you want in it, so just keep picking the same one and life gets really simple fast.
TBTH its between the LITE version of the T18 and the Radiomaster TX16S. Hi, do you know if I could bind with my Jumper T18 Pro v2 (coming in few days) with Hobby Horizon's Blade Nano S3 helicopter with Spektrum receiver?? Thanks

I loaned that radio out to a relative and have not seen it for over six months so can't tell you. I'm sure it works great as my cousin is still flying planes with it.
You can use this radio with a compatible receiver. So if you buy an FPV drone or RC Plane or RC Helicopter or RC Glider, the receiver in that RC Product just needs to be compatible with this radio, and this radio is compatible with plenty of receivers. DJI Googles are for video... This is a radio and has nothing to do with video.
Hey I really enjoy your channel. Question: does this radio bind with futaba receivers? Also did you do any tests regarding signal strength, range, etc.? How does this brand rate in comparison to Futaba, Spectrum, etc.? Thanks in advance, keep up the good work. Sincerely, Christian G.

I have SPEKTRUM radios and the quality is high on those. I also have the TARANIS QX7 and I've always like that radio (very solid). I find the JUMPER to feel like a quality radio, but not like a $600 quality radio. My only complaint is the scroll wheel. Spektrum has amazing scroll wheels and this one does not feel as good as the Spektrum's. I'm currently using the JUMPER T18 as my daily radio since it solves the problem of too many radios. Cabo Verde I bought mine off EBay that had been 3D printed . I have tried the 5.8 as pair and where I was getting 750m before I got 1500m with more to go . I haven’t tried it like that yet will do though. Have you seen www.drone-hacks.com as you can hack the mini and other DJI and with the boost option for mini you cans get more power than fcc
Will you do a video like this for the FPV goggles too, just different ones you like/recommend. What you like about the different goggles. Maybe some goggles at different price points. Thank you
I have reviewed googles in the past. Currently FATSHARK holds the thrown and most googles out there all get compared to FATSHARK, so if you can afford FATSHARKS, get them.
I'm a beginner and as much as the specs make me drool, no this won't be my go to all-in-one, because it's way way too expensive for a beginner. I would love to have a controller that can handle DJI and crossfire, but looks like it's still a pipe dream at a reasonable price.
can you bind a Frsky R-XSR Receiver to New RadioMaster TX16S Hall TBS Sensor Gimbals 2.4G 16CH Multi-Protocol RF System OpenTX Transmitter Remote Control for RC Drone (TBS Version Mode 2) im kinda new
I believe it is done. See Ed Ricker's new video about a new quad where he used a receiver and a controller configured for digital eliminating the DJI controller.

Spektrum has amazing scroll wheels and this one does not feel as good as the Spektrum's. I'm currently using the JUMPER T18 as my daily radio since it solves the problem of too many radios. We'll see how it goes.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Hey Captain, thanks for a timely reply. I appreciate the info and will have to give this product some serious consideration. Once again keep up the good work, i look forward to future content on your channel. Take care.

Does this remote work with Mavic Mini?
No
Dang! You had to do this review after I bought a DX6E on Monday. Great video, though!
Dang, I really hadn't planned on buying anything this month, Oh well $$$
Does this do the fimi x8se protocol?
No, it is designed for the RC Hobby, like RC Planes and RC Drones that don't come in a box with the battery, charger controller, but more for the RC FPV hobby of drones.
Cool Tx Cap'n 👍😍
Hi Captain!! Hope you ok! Question: Will you test the YAGI UDA 2.4/5.8Ghz Antennas for the Mavic Mini soon??? 👍. My 2.4Ghz DIY version works very well in Cabo Verde....🤗
Stay well
I have 3D printed 5.8G and 2.4G and work great
@@TheDeadlyraptor I had to make my own ones by ✋. I have No 3D printer...😊🙈. But it works👍.
Question: Have you tried testing them mixed L antenna 2.4Ghz+R antenna 5.8Ghz YAGI? Curious on what's performs better. Stay well greets Fer - Cabo Verde
@@TheDeadlyraptor thanks mate FYI. Good 2know they really work. 👍
Can I use this with blade helis?
That is Spektrum, so it should work as long as you can bind.
Hi, its mode 2 left hand throttle?
Your choice... MODE 1 or MODE 2. Select the correct model when you order or else you will have to take the back off and change the springs.
Awesome.
Very cool. Loved it. Oh, can I use it with a gps drone?
Only budget GPS drones may work, but very few of them.
can you bind a Frsky R-XSR Receiver to New RadioMaster TX16S Hall TBS Sensor Gimbals 2.4G 16CH Multi-Protocol RF System OpenTX Transmitter Remote Control for RC Drone (TBS Version Mode 2) im kinda new
Yes, I did it with the ROMA F5 drone (check out that vid).
Shalom Captain Drone!
Do you, or anyone know, if you can connect this remote to Hubsan Zino or Hubsan Zino Pro??
Nope, not in simple terms.
Would it work with the 4drc m1 m
mark300
What is a 4drc m1m mark300??????
CAPTAIN DRONE sorry mate 4drc m1 it’s also known as the mark 300 drone

*BEWARE DJI YOUR RADIO CONTROLLER IS NEXT!!!*
#DJI
#HACKING
I believe it is done. See Ed Ricker's new video about a new quad where he used a receiver and a controller configured for digital eliminating the DJI controller.
I got mine today!!!!!
Cool!
I'm a little scared cuz this is my first non Frsky radio, but excited!!!!
NICE!
