The first look is actually from 2003 when Kate and Will started dating in University when Kate did a charity fashion show but they knew each other before that, not right before they got engaged which was in 2010.
Paulina Hormizda they met in 2001 at St. Andrews, when Kate switched universities, in order to attend the same one as William. She was dating Rupert Finch at the time, when they broke up, a year later she and William started dating.
And yes, it was what she wore or lack of, that caught William's eye...

no she's no the only way you can be a princess is if you are blood descendant from the queen /one of the queens children, all of the prince and princesses spouses are dukes and duchesses

She's not a princess, she's a Duchess. Marrying a prince doesn't automatically make you a princess.
Rebecca Elise Actually Rebecca, Kate is a Princess by virtue of marriage. She is a Princess of the United Kingdom, that entitles her to be a HRH.
She's only a Duchess because William was given a Dukedom on their wedding day. So the Duchess of Cambridge became her official title. When they married, Kate also became HRH Princess William of Wales.
She obviously cannot be Princess Catherine or Princess Kate.
Other spouses are also Princesses by virtue of marriage, with other official titles:

Oh em gee! She looks just like Kate Middleton 🤭 Before the transformations I could only slightly see it but with the hair and makeup she looks just like her. Beautiful girl either way, she has lovely eyes and a delicate nose and cheek structure just like Kate…..BUT it’s crazy to see how much hair, clothes, and makeup can really elevate one’s look.
The girl seems like a low maintenance beauty, if I was her I’d chose the emulate Kate’s most significant looks only rather than try to be glam daily.
A very simple Smokey eyeshadow with dark mascara and a rosy lip would be enough…and as far as hair she could just use little accessories to pin the bangs back and a little stud earrings. She would definitely look just like her.
