- Early October rarely offers great bowhunting for mature bucks throughout most of the country. They are still out there, just not traveling far from their bedding areas. Despite this fact, early October has plenty to offer and you shouldn't avoid it. As long as you understand the green light opportunities (when to push) and you are careful the rest of the time, you can enjoy this great time of year without reducing your chances for success later.
That’s so great seeing Jordan and you working together. I always wondered if one your kids would come into the hunting business with you. It’s nice that’s she’s the editor and learning to do things with you. Hope Jordan gets one of the 25 Jordan shooter’s. Good luck this year Bill and Jordan.
I loved Midwest whitetail but this series is super relatable. Not because I’m hunting huge deer or tracks of land, but because it’s educational and direct. I’m just starting in filming my hunts and season preparations and this channel is inspirational.
It’s so awesome to see Jordan and you working together, I look forward to your video’s every week ! Thanks Bill and Jordan🏹
Nice strategy Bill, glad to see your daughter is getting involved :-) Beautiful country you've got there on the new farm, best of luck finding a Bill Worthy shooter! But either way it's all a blessing and especially since you can spend time with the family! Take care buddy thanks
Looks like you are living the dream Bill! Can’t wait to see how the series progresses, love the content and all the shared knowledge
I really enjoy seeing you start this new journey, many great memories to made thank you for all the knowledge you pass on to your fellow hunters. Happy hunting Bill !!
Another great video as always bill….thanks for all the knowledge you have given us hunters over the yrs, good luck this season sir
Editor is doing a great job so far! This series is awesome because its down to earth, not over produced, raw (a good thing in todays world!) and easy to follow. Can't wait to see you get in the field. Keep up the great work!
Great video Bill! I'm starting to see these pieces fall into place and think this may become one of the coolest new series to follow simply because it's 100% original and new. I can't imagine the firehose of knowledge that Jordan is being flooded with from deer management to building a place to sleep! This will be a timeless series!
Great video Bill, glad to see your daughter helping you out. Looking forward to the next video.
Bill you got me started watching UA-cam in 2008 with Midwest whitetail hence my preteen gamer tag name and I've been reading your articles long before then always been my favorite hunting author but adding this new aspect of a brand new farm and taking us with you and bringing Jordan along is the best content so far keep it up
Y’all 2 are gonna have a ball this fall and winter hunting together!!!! Good luck to both of y’all and can’t wait to see how the season goes for you both!
Thank you for the great early season tips. I am still learning my 7.35 acres - I can imagine how much tougher it would be on a larger parcel. Good luck sussing things out. Thanks again
Awesome to see your daughter with you. Best thing I ever did was work with my dad. He’s now retired and aging quickly. I wouldn’t trade anything for those days. Godspeed!
I look forward to my weekly "theres a new winke video out" group text. This is awesome glad your back!
Cool new chapter as we get to see you mentor Jordan! Good luck this season! 👍🏻
I used to be agressive in early bowseason until i figured out that all i was doing was educating the deer when i learned to slow dow i started seeing more deer though the season so much good information bill keep teaching and I'll keep learning have a good day
Once you finally get your food plots and really know how u want to improve the land and your hunts y’all will have big ole boys! Good lucky y’all!
I find myself in a similar situation, but I am getting my wife into deer hunting this year. I guess she figured after watching me hunt almost the last 20 years on primarily public ground she would jump in. Buying some private property helped seal that deal! Now I am doing exactly as you are, waiting for a daylight buck to show up (using cell cams) so I can try to get her on an "Amber shooter" @ our farm. Good luck with the living quarters, sure makes it nice when you have a place to stay right there on the farm. We bought our place June 30th and it was a sprint to get areas scouted, cleared, food plotted, stands up and the cabin ready in time for season. Your daughter is going to learn a lot in a short amount of time, excellent material to watch. Thank you both for taking the time to make these videos.
great information we have a nice buck here in north georgia thats moving in day light but only later afternoon going to try for him this week !! thanks for all y'all are doing on this channel !!
