Dang Slick! The Moki is Gorgeous 😍..I love everything about it!. High polished drop-point, long bolster & that beautiful Thuya burl is amazing. That would fit perfectly in my lockback collection😆. I have a Robert David Le'Select Laguiole in Buffalo Horn & worked back on the way🤫 Your vids are so cool🙏✌️
Warthogg funnily enough, my first Laguiole is on it way to me right now. I’ve added a few lock-backs of late. This, 2 Maserins and a 110. I was sticking to UK Legal slipjoints, but I reckon there’s room for a few collectors items/domestic users as well as EDC’s. RD do good guilloche with a choice of designs, so it’s a pity mine has none, but I just loved that wood!
"I like shiny." 😁👍 That's a shiny gents Barlow for sure! Marvellous. ✴ It would be great for us if more knives came with the option of locking or non-locking. I particularly dislike it when vendors try to conceal that a knife is locking. C'est la vie. Thanks. 👍
Beautiful, beautiful knife. There's something about the Japanese aesthetic I find very compelling. Just the right amount of everything, including restraint, in perfect balance, and executed to perfection. Can't see an Arthur Wright employee lasting long at Moki!
There must be the right amount of ‘ma’, or space, as well as substance in a Japanese thing. I carried a little Japanese lock-back for years & years back in the day. Never let me down, never frightened anyone. Perfect!
A nice little knife, I like small lockbacks and luckily I can carry them with no problem in Spain, I have been unable to put down my Brother 1509 since I got it, similar in size to your Pliant. If you haven't already, I suggest you have a look at Moonraker's selection.
It’s Robert David’s L’Epicurian. I thought I’d done a video on it, but I can’t see it. I’ll put it in the queue, but, in the meantime, it in this; ua-cam.com/video/E9T_vR7v5sg/v-deo.html
Absolutely gorgeous mate. Thanks for sharing it. Atb paddy 👍☘️😃
Wait till you see the next one! A serpentine pen with a warncliff main from Taylor’s Eye Witness.
Very handsome knife. Thanks for showing this one!
It’s been in my pocket since I filmed this, displacing a Rockstead. Need I say more?
That epicurean is absolutely beautiful!
Not very practical, but certainly beautiful!
Beautiful knife. Great review. Thank you!
ModernArnis I like it so much it’s become a permanent feature in my pocket.... till I have to go out of the house!
That's a real beauty you have there, that handle material is stunning.
Great video as always :)
Not legal to carry, but a very nice, well made piece.

@@slick_slicers I should have mentioned how much I like all the lovely wood grips you displayed!!! Yes, the RD has some superb pieces for sure.

Qui, c’est vrai! I’ve around 150 slipjoints, so I can let the odd locker slip through in to the collection.
Lovely looking little knife 👍🏻
It’s certainly very tasteful!

I carried a small Japanese lock-back everyday for about 15 or 20 years. A great wee knife. I can’t run the risk now 😞
What was the Frenchy again? Have you done a video on it?

ModernArnis you can’t beat it!
