  • This sold unit example is a 2022 Porsche 911 S Cabriolet. I run through the basic setup and some helpful tips. Not all Porsche 911 models will have the same options, please reach out to your local Porsche dealer if you have any questions. This video is to help get you started in your new Porsche 911.

    Very useful for soon-to-be owners so that they aren’t overloaded with info the day of delivery and can focus on more important questions they might have to ask their SA.

    Great video. Love your chrono watch!
    I just mt first 911s moderately well equipped.. scuffed passenger front and rear lights with in the week, high gloss black too. Luckily I bought the wheels insurance with Porsche… I was devastated. Oh well will be fixed next week.
    Lovey car and thanks for sharing!
    Actually your interior with the two tone interior setup is actually identical to mine lol!

    I’m trying to reset my trip odometer……and need guidance !

      Use the roller wheel controller on the steering wheel, highlight the left cluster like you would to change what you see there, at odometer click and hold. This should flash and reset it to zero.

    Never close the front trunk by clicking on the badge - at least that was told me by several Porsche professionals. Make a fist and do it with the back of your fingers (no finger tips) below the Porsche badge was the recommendation. Not sure why but I heard it from many people / Porsche owners already.

    • @DerekBonzagni
      @DerekBonzagni  8 місяців тому

      I respectfully disagree, the hood is aluminum or carbon so we always push on the batch to "click" it closed, never the hood. I'm sure there are plenty of forums saying otherwise but that is what is practiced at the dealership and during training sessions.

      @@DerekBonzagni Could be that you‘re absolutely right and your argument makes sense. I heard it from two different dealers not to push the batch, therefor I thought that‘s the way to do it. Getting my new 911 GTS in January, will ask again :-)

      Just put it in sport mode, or set the diamond key to cancel it. thank our wonderful epa for these start stop systems that everybody hates!

    Absolutely overly complicated and terrible infotainment design. From 991.2 then 992 turbo owner. Hyundai did say better than you in 2022.

    • @DerekBonzagni
      @DerekBonzagni  10 місяців тому +1

      Good thing nobody buying a 992 cares they are driving one of the best supercars on the market. Ask Ferrari if customers complain about the radio, same results. The Hyundai Palisade system we had had a simple system yet terrible graphics...pick your poison.

      He's right, I picked up my 992 two days ago and the stock stereo system and rear view camera are absolutely horrendous. A slap in the face for how much money I paid for this car. Rest of the car is perfection though.
