Hey, enjoying the videos. You mention in a few a few of your videos “expected value” of certain booster boxes. Just wondering where you get that information/what is it based off? Thanks.
Thanks Jack - a member of the community updates me daily on EV. The calculation is based off of the market price of the cards within each set then looks rarity/pullrate/etc. It all calculates and spits out a number based on traditional odds, you will end around x in value. Don't take it as a "if I open an Azurite sea box I will at least get $115 back", it's used to give as an idea of what we should expect.
Do you think it's better to buy the "Genie - Wish Fulfilled" card now or wait to buy it later? I've seen its price increase since its release, do you think it will decrease? (I collect cards from the Aladdin universe, not a player).
Based on the fact that no other rare is that valuable long-term I have got to think it comes down. Be patient and lets see what happens after these 800 boxes that were bought get opened.
@@CardboardKingdom Thanks for your reply, you're probably right. I'll try to be patient. 😆 Also, your videos are very interesting, keep up the good work. 🙌
@@Pres.WhaleCabal That's exactly right. Online "LGS's" are not being allocated Lorcana so people like Rudy have no reason to sell it to their viewers. Only physical LGS's and Retail partners can sell it.
Remember when WIZARDS OF THE COAST [Magic: The Gathering] originally printed Pokemon. I NEVER walked into a LGS and seen people playing Pokemon. But, I have on numerous occasions seen people playing MAGIC. You are correct, Collecting and Speculation wise, Pokemon is King...... at the moment. Pokemon is Magic for Children. Lorcana is Magic for the MASSES.
I enjoy your videos. Please continue with the good work :D
Glad you like them!
That's my 11/30 $767.99 Elsa purchase right there 😅
@@patricksullivan3628 eyyyy congrats that’s an amazing price.

@@MadDuFutur Thank you very much!
few videos ago Rudy said Lorcana was doing well
That’s good, the most recent clip I saw was him saying “I can’t talk about Lorcana because it’s made by Ravensburger”.
@@CardboardKingdomis there a reason why so? Are they controlling what’s getting distributed to per distributors?

Pokemon is Magic for Children.
Lorcana is Magic for the MASSES.
I really like that analogy.
@CardboardKingdom
Magic is for the Mundane.
Tarot is for the Initiated.
Above that?
