They def need alt arts or something other than enchanteds to pull in lorcana. If u dont pull a enchanted u basically pulled nothing unless u play the game. Makes it hard to wanna open product.

Chase will be wreck it Ralph and baymax (love big hero 6 too! Great movie). Love the alt art baymax but probably won't get that. Oh well lol

I bought seven boxes from Disney on their last sale. Rakuten was giving 20% back so it ended up giving me $105 back. Then the app glitched and gave me a second $105 back. I think I know why, but I’ll definitely be looking to repeat next time I’m in the market. 7 boxes for about $500 is a steal.

I don't always watch Lorcana Market Watch videoes.. but when i do, I watch Cardboard Kingdom

I hope they keep building interest. My family has enjoyed Lorcana as a collection and for play. I worry about the intermix with the politicized main brand, if it goes Woke it may push a lot of people away from collecting. Maybe they don’t really care about that anymore though.

I just opened 3 cases of azurite sea (Yes, my local sells boxes early to weekly players that come all the time. It is a perk of playing at your locals). I thought I was going to hate this set, but I absolutely love the enchanteds in this set.

I have a local shop that sells day 1 $109.99, so check around your area.

Around here, my local shop has been having issues with keeping packs in stock the last month or so. And Target has been mostly the same, where the only thing they seem to have are Starter Decks and a few troves. I'm hoping my local game shop is gunna have stuff this Friday for me to pick up.

While I agree its the players that drive Lorcana, I think Lorcana needs to ensure there is a strong and broad collectors base. Right now, collecting Lorcana is feast or famine. Enchanted, Promos or Bust. They need to learn from Pokemon Fever about mini-hits like Illustration rares and full art i.e. one hit every few packs. Legendaries don't feel special enough. A 2nd point I have which is more of a preference than a critique is that the cards just feel too "dark". My kids are instantly attracted to the colorfulness of Pokemon cards than the black bordered, darker images, detailing, heavy text of most Lorcana cards. And maybe the intent is to be more like Magic in this way to be geared towards an older audience.

It’s crazy how the hype just seemed to have died. I’m outside of Kansas City and no joke I don’t think my Walmart has sold a single pack is weeks. The shelves are full with zero movement but as soon as Pokemon goes up it’s gone. Even Shrouded Fable is selling out and that’s by far one of the worst Pokemon Sets. I don’t play Lorcana and just buy two BB of every set and put them away but it’s just crazy how little demand there is.

Opening pack is a gamble. Singles are guaranteed. How many packs would it take to make a playset of a Rare?

Get eyes on sorcery. Lorcana is great and I have a large collection and play weekly. Sorcery is my other outlet and it’s damn good. Classic magic style on a chessboard type of game field. Lorcana and sorcery FTW!

I feel like this is just going to help collectors get everything cheaper for this set when people aren't buying in. Kinda like pokemon, a lot of people started getting out after jungle and missed out on the next sets that are adored now. Long term, I still like this set. I would have preferred a consistency with enchanteds (stay with shimmering skies style for a few sets) before changing, but I'm liking some of these cards more than other enchanteds we have been seeing

The set 6 Enchanted Card art grows on me the more I see them. First look I could not see the detail in the background. My be the lack of color in this set will boost the next set sales. They could have had a full black and white set. They will figure it out. There is so much more to look forward to.

The problem is we don't need the old enchanteds or this. We needed better than they've put out in the past. They need to push the envelope. If they're going with the whole foil finish thing we need to see more of like what we saw at the play events. (Dragon Fire for example). Also, Ravensburger needs to quickly announce something. They need momentum. This is coming from one of their biggest fans, so if this is where I'm at, it's go time.

Urselas return was awful. They used an outside artist. Pokemon vs lorcana is there isn’t the consistency the enchanted art from set to set

If they say they are not cracking packs they are not true lorcana fans. Always a great experience cracking the packs with friends and playing with the new set.

Im sharing the same sentiment. Especially that Pokemon is releasing some fire sets now and into 2025.. A lot of 151 returning collectors now have the make choices with their limited budget and this set seems a good one to skip. As for me, I might get a BB if they go down on sale and maybe get one enchanted PSA10 just to have something from that set but I dont plan on opening packs.

🥱Art on these enchanteds are garbage. The only cards that are worth anything are the set champ cards so far. I’ll check back in in 15 years God willing. Only time will tell.

Haha I love the ending! With that being said… at the end of the day we all love Lorcana cards! Always enjoy these market updates. It’s like my daily news. I’m curious to see how this next set will do, i feel like the enchanteds generally carry the value, altho some good meta legendaries can also make boxes worth it too. Since i’m not crazy about this new set i’m just going back to these first sets and scooping up these enchanteds before they’re gone. When i see less than 20 -30 listings on TCGplayer for an enchanted it makes me think how little are actually on the market. You know the Smpratte mantra. and over time that will make these cards valuable. and I believe the demand will still be there in the years to come. whether or not some of these cards drop in the near future is up to speculation. Es I have a feeling a lot of these cards will begin to come down, and sellers will undercut just tryin to be the lowest listing and make a sale. and then in the next year start to trend up till supply runs dry. And hopefully people will have more liquid capital to buy more singles. From what I can tell, many players and collectors still primarily want to rip and pull their chases so sealed will always hold value. Especially the PSA 10s. Another thought is I do think a lot of cards will hit a ceiling where people may not want to spend $300-400+ for a single card, You can see that’s what happened with First chapter. People weren’t buying them at $350 cuz it just wasn’t that affordable. But the older, the rarer the minter the better. and you have the long haul vision to see that first chapter boxes could easily hit $500+ years into the future. I can see elsa’s in PSA 10 go for 2k+ especially when Frozen 3 & 4 hit. At the end of the day.. great Lorcana Content Mike! Keep it up!
