@@EpicFableBean Well i prefer to look at it this way, zebras and ponies may not be related by species, but they are related by both being members of the Equine family, therefore in it's own weird and twisted way if Zecora had eaten Apple Bloom she would've committed a sort of an "interspecies" cannibalism, i mean i know there's no such thing but that's what i like to call it and that's just how i see it, but since everyone has different opinions oh well.
Looking back, this episode is the start of ponies being speciest to other races before season 8 theme of it. However people claiming this is terrible because its *racist against black people* is all bs.
The lesson on never judge a book by its cover never gets old is because most people forgot the lesson, same thing with telling not to be racist. This episode actually teaches both lesson, they actually teach the same thing Daring Doubt; you guys are missing the point of the lesson in that episode. The reason why I love Daring Doubt: 1) Ahuizotl could be an aggressive type of person, since he another under development character; so Hasbro kinda hit the fan in two different directions that most people think is a retcon, but for some of us think he was just exaggerated about that 800 years of heat to scare off the treasure hunters. 2) I still going to said, Fluttershy is not an idiot; go watch Ultraman Cosmos and you will know why said she’s not an idiot. If you still don’t like this episode is fine, I just hope you not mad on Fluttershy for forgiving Discord at the end.

Okay, I do kinda bias on Fluttershy since she my best pony; for this continuity flaw is just a mosquito bite for me. I don't know you realize that lot of people jealous her kindness and start to act like that want it kindness minusaur, even worst is that they wanted Hasbro to assassinated her character by not forgiving Discord for the whole Grogar twist thing. Is like they wanted Fluttershy turn into that Rex guy from The Lego Movie 2, if you watch the movie than you what am I talking about?
I always disagreed with the idea that being predictable is a flaw. So I agree with your ending notes.
And to think this was one of two different episodes on the series to imply cannibalism, the second one being Luna Eclipsed.
