I actually had to pause the video just to say that it gives me great comfort and joy to know that there are people in this world that will go out of their way, fork over their own hard-earned cash, and spend their precious time with the sole intention of giving families closure and making sure the dead get justice.

On that same note it worries tf out of me that some random guy puts up a measly 5k (measly for the city/department) and solves a case that had been “cold” for MONTHS. Wtf are those investigators and forensics guys doing? If I get killed and they don’t leave their calling card with their name, address and spit will my case go “cold” too?

It's so nice for Justin to help these families get closure. I just feel like the government or state should have no constriction towards solving any cold case that they have DNA evidence from. It's super nice wealthy people donate to some. Just seems like only those select few get to run the tests due to the $$ aspect to it all. It would be nice to see more cases get to get these tests done if the case has the proper forensic evidence to submit for modern testing.

Exactly - I said the same thing under one of these videos and some man responded with "BuT mEN alSO GeT kiLLeD!" - no one said they don't - It's just in most of these cases it's women that are kidnapped, r$ped, tortured, murdered. I hear about the same happening to men way less often. And it happens even more rare that a guy was murdered "just because" some crazy person wanted to r$pe him and saw the man walking on the sidewalk, kidnapped him, did "the thing" and murdered him. It mostly happens to women. So yea, I wish the world would be safer for us. Facts speak for themselves and I h8te when men make it all about themselves when women just want to speak out about their suffering and their fear. Just listen to us for a change, help making the world safer for us and check the ratio of women and men getting killed/r3ped. This is not a competition of course, since I feel sorry for all the male victims also and I'd love if this world was safe for all of us. I just h8te being silenced when the facts are obvious that the world is very dangerous to women and it's very tiring that we can never feel 100% safe. Always having to call someone when we are heading out somewhere after dark, always having keys or pepper spray in our hand, always hanging out at bars with our friends, never alone.

@@Moriartea_chan this! ^^ women often get blamed for these incidents too, such as "she attracted attention with those revealing clothes", "she should've fought back", "she was asking for it".
of course, not trying to downplay male victims, every victim counts. but damn, it's really frustrating when they think women overreact or are just paranoid.
sorry for the long comment, it's just refreshing to see a reply section here that doesn't victim blame. i've seen so many comments like those that i was almost bracing myself to see them here -- pleasantly surprised to find none.

The fact that some random guy can spend a measly 5k (measly for the city/taxpayer) and have these shits solved even after months it has gone “cold” worries tf out of me. Wtf is our investigation and forensics guys doing?? Do they even care? If I get murdered and they don’t leave their calling card with their name and address would my case go “cold” too?

It’s always wild to hear a story from where I’m from. Spokane has so much low key crime. We never hear about it until after we find the body or hear years later it’s missing. So many missing people in Spokane.. especially natives.. in their own land at that

What got me started on watching your videos was the narrator's voice.
I love watching documentaries, but sometimes the narrating and the editing of a video can put you off it. Your videos are not in your face and reflects everything perfectly. Plus there's no loud background music. And your content shows you guys have truly put effort into presenting the facts to the best of your capacity.
    Thank you!
Oh and please don't change yor narrator.

I hate cold cases especially unsolved....and sometimes knowing the killer of their loved one's is still alive and well, living a normal life due to lack of evidence and the family and Police can't do anything without any evidence.

Would you please make an episode on the "orange socks" Jane Doe case? Or maybe you already made one but I haven't seen it yet, in wich case I'm sure I'll run into it anytime soon, since I'm a great fan of your videos and always watch at least four or five a day... Thank you very much for all the hard work that you guys do on every video you upload 🖤

Makes me sick that so many men get away with this bs (many pass away before the case is cracked or they just walk free due to our "justice system").
Women are forever at risk to these sickening men.
Those men who did such disgusting things died and never faced justice.

Makes me wonder why they do this. Is it the way they’re raised? Is it in their biology? It’s scary to have sons knowing that them doing something like these crimes, is a possibility.

Crazy how technology advanced in like 30 years! Imagine how its gonna be in 75 years from now, Maybe like that Tomorrow Cruise movie... It shows the crime happening before it happens then they go get the perpatrater! That would be sweet... God Bless these families though, all of them....

My friends mom went missing with a guy she knew around 1995. She was found 15 yrs later, at the bottom of a gravel mound that, was around 20m(65-70 feet) tall and 40m(130-150 feet ) wide at the base.
Someone had killed her and the man, put them in his truck, and buried the truck under that huge pile of gravel. Where they stayed for the next 15 years or so.
Today, they still have no publicly announced suspects.
