A lot of people in our own government and those they deal with are just as corrupt, greedy and evil as any other government so nothing shocks me anymore when it pertains to people in or deals with governments including the USA.

second case is so messed up, losing a child is already hard enough but being falsely charged for your own baby's death just because some lab testers mixed up the samples is just insane. She was pregnant in prison, wasn't allowed to go to her baby's funeral and her own family probably hated her so much because they thought she was a murderer. Poor souls 💔💔

It's also crazy because it's possible to poison someone on accident for one thing, but there have also been incidents with food contaminated with ethylene glycol from the factory. Even if a baby actually DOES have ethylene glycol in their system doesn't mean someone fed it to them to kill them

Right??!! I watched a show that covered that case a while back. It is incredibly sad and messed up. I cannot even begin to imagine what that woman went through. If she hadn’t been pregnant prior to getting locked up, she most likely would have never been vindicated and released. It was only due to her second child’s affliction with the same health issues, otherwise she would have stayed in jail for life. That’s so insane that something like that can happen to literally anyone, and despite your innocence, no one believes you and you are labeled a child murderer! As if she wasn’t experiencing enough pain already. :( I’m so glad that the truth was revealed, though it was kind of at the expense of the second child’s life.. his affliction was her only key to freedom, so giving birth to him was almost like a blessing and a curse. That sounds f’d up and might come off wrong. I’m sure it was 100% a blessing to the mother. Very sad that the second child only lived such a short life. But yeah, it is really scary to acknowledge the fact that you could be wrongfully convicted of a crime you didn’t commit, and get sent to prison for life. She must have felt so hopeless and alone. I hope she is doing well now and finding ways to heal as much as possible. 💔

30yrs ago, after the birth of my first child, a nurse approached my mother, and tried to wheel the crib away. My mum demanded to know what was going on. "This baby needs to go to the nursery with all the others" said the nurse". my mum said "her mother has gone for a shower and you are NOT TAKING HER BABY ANYWHERE". the nurse backed off. I still get the horrors when I think what COULD have happened. When we complained to the ward manager, she said she didn't know of a nurse of that description and she was not wearing a name tag. Thank God for my fearless, unafraid mother. X

Damn. Mother AND Grandmother of the year for your mom! So glad she trusted her instincts. When I was taken for my car seat test (because I was born premature) my father demanded to go with and not leave me alone, and eventually got his way. I've thought it was silly because I have like 4 birth marks and it'd be hard for the hospital to mix me up, but now I realize getting mixed up with another baby was the least harmful thing that could've happened to me. Even though these were real hospital staff, I'm glad that even if bad people did approach in the hospital he wouldn't have let anything happen to me.

    • @raerohan4241
      @raerohan4241 2 роки тому +62

Yeah, snatching babies from hospitals is weirdly common. Have an aunt who almost lost one of her twins that way. She'd been gone to use the restroom. Her own mother (the grandmother) was sitting on a sofa in her hospital room, holding the baby in her lap. She'd been up all night waiting for news, so being tired, she dozed off a little. Woke up to see her grandson gone. She ran out into the hallway and saw a strange woman (not hospital staff) carrying him away. Thankfully the woman was caught and my cousin returned. It's scary to think that someone could just walk into a hospital, pick up a baby from a family member's lap, and try to leave with him

@@ameliarose47 I told my husband to do the same thing. When they took my son into the nursery to give him his hospital “LoJack” device they secure on his arm that can only be removed with a specific tool or key and give him his ID bracelet, weigh and measure him. I said to my husband, go with him right now and DO NOT let him out of your sight until he’s been given his ID bracelet and his “LoJack” placed on his arm. Then bring him back. And about 10 minutes later in walked my husband behind a nurse who wheeled our son Ethan back into my room. From an interview she did in 2021
“Emotions were high and she says no one was mentally prepared for it. But as time passed and she’s matured, things have begun to get easier with biological parents Morne and Celeste Nurse.
We grew to really focus on our relationship and not what people or society says that it should be, because they really don’t know what’s it like going through what everybody involved went through or had to endure,” says Miché, “we have a great understanding and relationship towards each other.”
As for her sister Cassidy, Miché says they share an extremely close bond
Miché’s biological parents recently reconciled after being divorced for many years. She says it was one of her heart’s desires to see her parents married once more.
It was something I earnestly prayed for, and the Lord truly granted me that.”
She also maintains a relationship with the woman who kidnapped her, and says once she’s eventually released from prison they’re having a deep conversation, as she understandably feels lied to and betrayed, but can’t turn off the love she feels.

The one with the kidnapped baby was interesting…when I was in high school, a girl I went to school and worked with took a baby from a hospital in Oklahoma. I knew she was completely mentally unstable years prior because she had just walked into our home in the middle of the night looking for my brother (apparently) but found my moms room instead. When my mom asked who’s there? She didn’t say anything and ran to the back of the house, instead of going out the back door, she ducked into the bathroom, mom cornered her behind the door. She just pushed past my mom and ran out the door, never saying a word. Fast forward 4 or 5 years and she’s getting maternity clothes from Hardee’s where we worked and oddly asked if she could come to my house to try them on. Uuummm ok. I told her she had A LONG time before she would fit into them. Then she would sit and eat trays and trays of French fries and apple pies while at work. Her boyfriend was SO sweet and was so excited about being a dad. When the news came on about the baby taken from Oklahoma, I told my mom that it was her. She’d just shown up with it one day, hadn’t even told her bf she was in labor! And she was parading it all over town, even though she was saying it was just two days old. It was weird. I even picked up the phone to call the tips hotline, but my mom talked me out of it. My manager at Hardee’s did call and turn her in. Whole thing was jacked up.

Absolutely disgusting behavior in that second story by the hospital staff, law enforcement and prosecution. The fact no one bothered to double check the first infants results or even get another opinion is beyond just incompetent. And then on top of that police finding antifreeze, an item everyone and their mother has in their damn home or car, as if that can at all be used as evidence is insane to me. It should have been thrown out in court. That poor woman will have this case following her for the rest of her life even after being exonerated. Imagine the treatment she received in jail because she was falsely accused of murdering her son. She should have sued every single person that failed her and that baby and ruined their lives. That child very likely would have lived if not for the incompetence of the medical staff to begin with because he otherwise would have received the treatment that would have saved his life as it saved his siblings. The third story is always going to be my biggest nightmare. When I gave birth to my baby, I told my husband that our baby was to not EVER leave the room under ANY circumstances. Should any situation arise with her health, my husband and/or I would have to be present at all times. We set up sleep shifts just to make sure she was always in our room. We’re very thankful the staff was kind and never pushing us to let our baby into the nursery. They never even made an attempt to try to remove her from my room, but I never let my guard down until we were discharged. You can never, ever be too careful.

Miche visits her regularly at the prison as well as her husband. All the while... Lavona plays the role of a butch lesbian in there while also playing innocent Grandmother to Miche's children. Wonders shall never end!!! It's no wonder Lavona's husband never knew that Miche was s stolen baby... this man is the SIMPS of all simps. Its clear who wears the pants in that household. Yes, Miche was kidnapped as a baby and raised for 17 years but isn’t it more traumatizing to her to then after so long remove her from the situation. Was she happy and loved? I mean after 17 years I feel like there’s a reason she kept her name. It was probably way too much for her to handle. I can’t imagine how she felt having to watch the only mother she ever knew go to jail. I am not condoning what the woman did, I’m just trying to understand it from Zephany’s stand point.

It’s probably super conflicting. I found out in high school that my dad wasn’t my biological father and I don’t actually know who my birth father is (thanks mom!). So that shocked me and made me wonder who the hell am I, but on the other hand, I’m approaching 40 now and I haven’t done any of the genealogical things because I don’t really want to know and/or I’m afraid of what I’ll find. It’s something I don’t really like to think about because even though I know I probably need that info (for medical reasons, etc), It’s painful and awkward to confront and I don’t want my dad to think I’m betraying him by trying to learn about my “real” father. 🫥

Her mother abducted a baby. Abduction is a crime. In theory, at least, we want the government to prosecute people when they commit crimes. If there's pain in the lives of innocent victims, that's the fault of the criminal, not the government.

10:40 many hospitals have tunnels under their hospitals. I've worked at several hospitals in San Diego since 2003 and most of them have basements with tunnels, especially if they have additions that connect old and new hospitals, which is most hospitals over 20 or 30 years old.
Heck in SD the children's hospital, the woman's hospital and a regular hospital are all connected through a set of tunnels so that patients can easily be transferred between hospitals if needed and they share a MRI/CT center.

3:19 "the body couldn't have been dead for more then a few months" the way they lead with that made me think we'd see a dude similar looking to the guy they were looking for, not a dude that's a completely different race. Identification (especially of a suspect/body) is one of the times race is kind of extremely relevant. Also the reason the Zodiac Killer was never caught because someone told the police they were looking for a black man instead of a white man.

They hinted at it even before the sentence you quoted. And even if they didn't, why does it matter in a UA-cam Video? Plus, it was revealed literal seconds later through the picture. Then they hand you a life sentence. You know you didn't do anything, but nobody believes you. You end up having to stay in protective custody in prison because the inmates want to kill you. Just WOW. I wouldnt be able to live through that. Thank god you had Jr. to clear your name.

I've heard the one about the babies. Crazy the things our body does.

It’s tragic, and shocking, the poor mother might have some trauma from dealing with so much plus she was never a killer however she was found guilty. Some people might still stigmatize her or think she did have something to do with her child

I found it weird that if they were going to blame the parents, why only the mom? What about the dad??
