I filmed my college day going to art class, showing what it's like having tourette's in school and being a wheelchair user :)

Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition and disability which causes involuntary movements called tics. I use my platforms on social media such as TikTok, UA-cam and Instagram to advocate and raise awareness for the condition and show what it is like living with a disability as a teen in school.
My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about tics, tic disorders and what its like to be a teen living with Tourette's syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and a seizure disorder (NEAD/NES).
I show what its like having tics and Tourettes in class and in school and college, vlog, and I also bake, do other challenges and answer all your questions in Q and A videos.
I am also an ambulatory wheelchair user so I show what life looks like using various mobility aids and how needs change from day to day!

Really nice ! Also very validating to see other people having good tic days, cause it's not talked about much and I often feels like people won't believe me if I don't tic all the time... I should be enjoying those days and not worry about what people think

First of all I LOVEEE these vlog thingys that you do at school and stuff also I took ur advice and ended up having to tell my teachers cuz at first my tics weren’t that bad but they’ve gotten much worse so they all knew what tics are so it wasn’t much of an issue but I have a middle finger tic and a “f off” and “f you” and a “shut up” tic. Some students knew what my tics were so they understand. Thank you so much for spreading awareness about tics and Tourette’s Syndrome

I had some kind of tics for like 7 weeks so maybe in a year and its still happening my parents will have to call people or whoever they call
Here is the symptoms I have
Twitching uncontrollably
Stuttering and can't speak until I get the words right in my head
And movement i make i will do it uncontrollably multiple times

Question : how does it feel to have to do the tic and have no control? ( what I am trying to say is not being able to stop it )
i might not be zara, but i also have tics that are most likely tourettes. i like to imagine it as when you really need to cough, and you can kinda hold it in but the more you do the more you need to cough and then boom, full blosn cough attack, zero control
