Nah. It does a charge forwards catching enemies in the way and dropping them into a cinematic Final Smash. After becoming Chompzilla from PvZ Heroes, it does a roar that racks up damage before biting down on the targets, dealing high damage and instantly KO-ing them if they are at/over 100% after the bite.

Imagine, crazy dave in smash planting his plants, he'd be placing peashooters like how duck hunt places his gunman or throws cherrybomb at enemies. Or maybe ust one of the plants from plants vs zombies garden warfare and borrowed some moves there.
Imp Punt is also good for a entrance. You know what, I'll make one here. It's all the Smash Bros characters fighting, then suddenly, from one side, melons, peas, cobs, and more start bombarding them, then from the other side, Imp Punts, lasers, missiles, and footballs start doing the same. Then all new characters start pouring in, with assist trophies too. *Peashooter, Sunflower, Chomper!* *Football Zombie, Scientist, Foot Soldier!* It then ends with Dr. Zomboss and Dharkon on the right, and Crazy Dave and Galeem on the left. Then a hyped up version of the New Seed jingle plays as the screen fades to white and shows the in-game action.
Ok I have a move set Idea for a fighter. It is CrAZy DavE! Netural B: plants a sunflower. This can give him sun which allows him to other plants with his other specials. Side B: Plants a Pea shooter. This has an average distance shot of about half Final Destination. Down B: Plants Chomper. Doesnt do anything until an opponent comes near. It will then chomp them for about 5 seconds as if it was grabbed and being damaged. Crazy Dave can also damage the opponent while it is in this state. Up B: Places a corn. This can also be placed in mid air. If done in mid air it launched crazy Dave up an average distance. If place down on the ground it will launch corn over the stage. Side notes: All smash attacks use his frying pan aerials too If he does not have enough sun for a plant he will simply weakly swing his frying pan in front of him. This does not do too much damage. Any ideas for moves I missed (like aerials and more) feel free to tell me! Great work keep it up! :D

If I were Sakurai, if PvZ were to be represented in Smash, he'd pick Crazy Dave as he is always guiding the player in those games. I'd pick the Roof Top as the stage as that's also where the first boss fight of the series happened. As for the art style, to better closely capture PvZ as a whole, it will not be too realistic but not too cartoony, just in between.

I would say "I will main THEM" because my ideal moveset for the PvZ character would be almost all the plants: Flower Pot as the "feet". Sunflower as the main idle. Peashooter as the jab. Puffshroom as the tilt. Snow Pea as the dash attack. Scaredy-shroom as the down tilt. Cactus as the up tilt. Piranha Plant as the f-smash. Potato Mine as d-smash. Cherry Bomb as the u-smash. Tangle Trap as the grappler. Squash as d-throw. Blover as the f-throw Umbrella Leaf as the u-throw Spikeweed as neutral B (leaves one on the ground) Cabbage-pult as side B (aim like Yoshi egg). Escape Root as the up B (plants one on the ground and returns on that spot you if you use it again) And most importantly, down B, plant your last used move, it stays there until you use that specific move again so it disappears, can be killed. I think it is way to hard to make 18 models for one character and hard to program the down B, but hey, Steve exists.
I was talking with someone a little while back about the possibility of a PvZ remix being made for this channel. Thanks for filling the prophecy. Also, I really like the pace of this. It feels like the same pace as the sped-up PvZ games, which works well with this being music from the game.

The Almost Twins I have a soft spot for piranha plant so yes I am. I never got to play plants vs zombies so this one doesn’t hold as much for me. I do still enjoy the song and I’m happy the game exists, I personally just like my boy better ☺️

I've always wanted CRAZY DAVE from Plants vs Zombies as a playable character in Smash. He could use each iconic plant as an adapted attack. Jabs could be done by Bonk Choy, side smash could be done by Chomper, Up Smash by the tall spiky cactus, down smash could be done by Dave making a Snapdragon shoot fire to the floor and the flames extending to its sides in a considerable range covering both sides completely, somewhat like Megaman's down smash but in a more horizontal way like in the real PvZ game. He could use his head frying pan to make side tilts that will also act as a reflector. Grabs could be done by some plant vines like a tether grab that can also be use to grab the ledge. Recovery could be the blowing clover (Blover) and it could work like King K. Rool's Up B but without ending in a helpless state. Side B could be a Watermelon attack with an arc trajectory and charging it will make you shoot frozen watermelons that will slow down the opponent's speed a couple of seconds. Neutral B could be a Pea shooter shot with a straight trajectory and if you hold the B button it could shoot Ice peas that will slow down enemy speed for a couple of seconds also. Down B could plant a random plant in the stage and you would need to adapt your strategy depending on the plant that spawns to get the most benefit from it. Anything could appear from it, explosive potatoes, pea shooters, cacti, Cherry Bombs, explosive peppers, etc. A great variety of explosive plants but also stationary shooting plants that could be planted to shoot from a strategical place of the stage like for 30 seconds while you use it to your advantage to pressure the opponent enhancing the "tower defense" essence from which the character comes from. All in all, could be a very creative and really fun character to play with and had been one of my most wanted characters in Smash ever. But sadly, it belongs to EA so it's not so likely that he will be joining Smash anytime soon.

Front Yard stage: Shape: Similar to Final Destination but a little larger with random floating platforms (like the PVZ2 levels on the map) Hazards: Zombies will appear. They randomly walk around the stage and will try to attack the plants. They will damage anyone who touches them. Peashooters(day) and Fume Shrooms(night) will emerge and shoot at the zombies. Will damage any player that accidentally gets hit by the projectiles. The stage occasionally switches between day and night
Given how PVZ is an icon and founding father of Tower Defense games, and the fact that Battle For Neighbourville just came to Switch, it is not only possible for this to happen, it’s up there with some of the more likely possibilities, and that warms my heart given my history with the franchise
Crazy Dave hiding behind wall nuts in the background like pokemon trainer as the player can control and switch between Peashooter (balance), Chomper (Tank), Sunflower (mobility/recovery), and Cactus (Campy). However in order to switch with Down B you have to wait till seed packet meters fill up for each plant. Final Smash could be an Air strike from Penny, Plant food, or a "triple finish" style combo of garden warfare abilities.
This could legit be a thing, honestly PVZ is a SFW franchise (not in user stuff, but as said by the ESRB, "Online Interactions are not rated by the ESRB") PVZ has been on the Nintendo DS in the past, not to mention BFN on Switch There's a shit ton of ideas to choose from (Speaking of, I'd prefer like a Pokemon Trainer and Steve combo Crazy Dave which switches between Peashooter, Sunflower, and Wall-nut, and can gather sun from hitting opponents to upgrade their plants, like Pea to Repea, Sun to Twin, and Wall-nut to Tall-nut) Iconic areas from both the original and the Garden Warfares (I'd love a Zomboss Factory stage btw where you sometimes have to dodge walking Zombots) Music's already covered! (Not saying they'll literally come up to our boi's channel and say "Oi, ya wanchyer stuff ta actually be in Smash?")

I can see the stage already… a large, sun baked roof, pots left right and center to heal your character (if it’s plant themed), and the Zombot to summon if you waited long enough… but one can dream.

The Almost Twins I have a soft spot for piranha plant so yes I am. I never got to play plants vs zombies so this one doesn’t hold as much for me. I do still enjoy the song and I’m happy the game exists, I personally just like my boy better ☺️

I've always wanted CRAZY DAVE from Plants vs Zombies as a playable character in Smash.
He could use each iconic plant as an adapted attack. Jabs could be done by Bonk Choy, side smash could be done by Chomper, Up Smash by the tall spiky cactus, down smash could be done by Dave making a Snapdragon shoot fire to the floor and the flames extending to its sides in a considerable range covering both sides completely, somewhat like Megaman's down smash but in a more horizontal way like in the real PvZ game. He could use his head frying pan to make side tilts that will also act as a reflector. Grabs could be done by some plant vines like a tether grab that can also be use to grab the ledge. Recovery could be the blowing clover (Blover) and it could work like King K. Rool's Up B but without ending in a helpless state.
Side B could be a Watermelon attack with an arc trajectory and charging it will make you shoot frozen watermelons that will slow down the opponent's speed a couple of seconds.
Neutral B could be a Pea shooter shot with a straight trajectory and if you hold the B button it could shoot Ice peas that will slow down enemy speed for a couple of seconds also.
Down B could plant a random plant in the stage and you would need to adapt your strategy depending on the plant that spawns to get the most benefit from it. Anything could appear from it, explosive potatoes, pea shooters, cacti, Cherry Bombs, explosive peppers, etc. A great variety of explosive plants but also stationary shooting plants that could be planted to shoot from a strategical place of the stage like for 30 seconds while you use it to your advantage to pressure the opponent enhancing the "tower defense" essence from which the character comes from. All in all, could be a very creative and really fun character to play with and had been one of my most wanted characters in Smash ever. But sadly, it belongs to EA so it's not so likely that he will be joining Smash anytime soon.

Front Yard stage:
Shape: Similar to Final Destination but a little larger with random floating platforms (like the PVZ2 levels on the map)
Hazards: Zombies will appear. They randomly walk around the stage and will try to attack the plants. They will damage anyone who touches them.
Peashooters(day) and Fume Shrooms(night) will emerge and shoot at the zombies. Will damage any player that accidentally gets hit by the projectiles.
The stage occasionally switches between day and night
Imagine Graze The Roof, but on steroids.

Given how PVZ is an icon and founding father of Tower Defense games, and the fact that Battle For Neighbourville just came to Switch, it is not only possible for this to happen, it’s up there with some of the more likely possibilities, and that warms my heart given my history with the franchise

Crazy Dave hiding behind wall nuts in the background like pokemon trainer as the player can control and switch between Peashooter (balance), Chomper (Tank), Sunflower (mobility/recovery), and Cactus (Campy). However in order to switch with Down B you have to wait till seed packet meters fill up for each plant. Final Smash could be an Air strike from Penny, Plant food, or a "triple finish" style combo of garden warfare abilities.
Honestly chomper could just be a piranha plant copy and I wouldn’t care

There's a shit ton of ideas to choose from (Speaking of, I'd prefer like a Pokemon Trainer and Steve combo Crazy Dave which switches between Peashooter, Sunflower, and Wall-nut, and can gather sun from hitting opponents to upgrade their plants, like Pea to Repea, Sun to Twin, and Wall-nut to Tall-nut)
Iconic areas from both the original and the Garden Warfares (I'd love a Zomboss Factory stage btw where you sometimes have to dodge walking Zombots)

Throw/Grab:Peashooter grabs the Enemy,throws them on the air then shoots a pea at them.
Special down:A leaf storm appears around Peashooter.
Special up:Rocket lanches,but instead of a rocket,uses chilli bean bomb from GW2.
Special left and Right:Goes on fire and shoots a super high dmg fire pea.
Final smash:Enemy teleports tô a training field and 10 gatling peas shoots the enemy.
Pea shooter would not work in smash Crazy dave on the other hand

I can see the stage already… a large, sun baked roof, pots left right and center to heal your character (if it’s plant themed), and the Zombot to summon if you waited long enough… but one can dream.
