at 5:15 you could make a opening at where the arms are going you should refold it back and the fold the arms then the folded arms are going to be sowed inside the refolded puppet that's the most easiest thing to make a puppet and also you just can stop destroy your puppet when you cut the puppet it just Bang so i hoped this helped PS: i'm Norwegian lol

Best tutorial on puppet making out there! The head shape is great without all the complicated patterns you see elsewhere. Too bad I didn't know about your video 3 puppets ago.

The stop-start action really makes you pay attention.

Love the video. One question. In 2:36 what is the purpose for sewing the top triangle and the other one altogether?

Hi! Could I get rough measurements on the template pieces, so I know about how big to make everything? Like, how long/wide both pieces are? Also, how wide are the fingers? Thanks so much! Your tutorial is really awesome. :)

Th3StuffShow true! Great tutorial, have you ever thought about separating the head and the body and giving it a neck. It can add some neat character and a better point of articulation so that the whole body doesn’t have to turn in order to move the head. Also, with the hands you can double up th fabric, trace the pattern and sew on the line without cutting it out, then cut it out after. takes less time and is much easier. For the green screen, it looks like it’s just shadows. Try adding some extra lights shining at the screen it’s self from the sides, positioned off screen behind you.
