  • Here is our last Puppet Building Tutorial. In this episode we glue down the eyes, than make the nose and fasten that down. We next add a little bit more unique movement by adding feathers to the head.

A really terrific series!! Thank you so much for all your time and hard work. My wife and I are hoping to spend a weekend soon building some puppets for her classroom :)

I am very impressed with your attention to detail. I'm but a learner in the beginning stages of making puppets. I started with Paul Louis' muppet style puppet videos and i must say it's not as easy as he makes it look lol At least for me. I seem to struggle with getting the head size right for some reason lol. I can't wait to make something like this puppet here. Thanks for all your little tips and tricks , like using the pins to hold the nose!! Keep up the great work!

Arm Rods- this is a beginner video and didn't want to go into detail about arm rods. There are plenty of other tutorials online about Arm Rods and the process of making them.

@kingtut1923 I found the fur at Fabricland- it is nylon on one side and fur on the opposite side. Very hard to machine sew as it bunches up all the time. But cool movement!

@ztslovebird I would either sew on a wig or make a pattern using fur and sew it on.

How would you give a puppet human-like hair? Is it as simple as hot-gluing a human wig to a puppet, or is there a better way to go about it?
