scott can hold it better travis fails at josie he only hits the hi hat when he hits the snare thats cheating you have to hit it on every 8th note not when he hits the snare. and if you look at his face hes like dying hes feeling pain. scott just does it the right way without a breaking a sweat
Dude Ranch, Cheshire Cat, Buddha, Tales From Uranus = some of the best punkrock albums ever made, I love all their other albums from Enema to Neighborhoods but nothing beats 1994-98 true skate punk era blink.
i miss those days i know i was only 6 when i first saw them but still changed my life warptour 98 was the best i saw scoot there sadly i was only 7 at the time
If you look in the credits of american pie.. travis is in the video, but they give scott the credit in the movie.... Blink was the shit when scott was in the band
@Jerkyboy2169 cardoz is right, scott dosnt play any songs on enema. there are some written and peorformed before and maybe he played on the enema demo but on the final record he dosnt drum any of it sadly :/
@STimo95 ye but it was the kind of kick out where they are all completely pissed at each other. raynor probably had no desire to play anojhter track once they treated him like shit
@Jerkyboy2169 and another thing: if you listen to scott play it live its different to the album version. then if you listen to travis play it in 1998 its exactly how it is on the album
@smittypunker thats very true... i struggle to play most the way through on any tracks with Scott, in buddah his double peddle is pretty fast too xD he was gifted wiv insane speed.. he must really please the ladies ;)
@Jerkyboy2169 that was a mistake by the people who made the film, its noted as a trivia. it wasnt becuase scott played in the song. and im not proving you wrong cause ibum travis, i dont, i prefer scott
@smittypunker I can see what your saying and sometimes i do like scott as the drummer more, but travis around when joined blink could play just as fast as Scott. Look at dont leave me, or pathetic live on the mark tom and travis show. thats hella fast haha
lol always get a kick out of youtube, idiots comparing two drummers calling eachother every name in the book. who cares whose better. thanks for posting this video, great quality. can you send me the raynor interview joboshmo. thanks in advance if you can.
@Jerkyboy2169 the song was written by mark and tom, and played by scott becuase he was the drummer at the time. when the recorded enema scott wasnt in the band.... dont call me a moron becuase you cant accept your wrong. i mean even if there was any doubt, which there isnt, the fact that the drums used in mutt are the same drums used on every other song on enema should settle it for you
@RIKSET27 They could have let him record one more song, kind of like how syd barrett was in the studio when shine on you crazy diamond was recorded, which was about him leaving
well i don't think he had it at all during the dude ranch era and he used it for all the enema promo shows so i would assume that it was while enema was being recorded
@smittypunker Dude doubt you would know blink if travis never came to the band and blink would of stop because they were getting fed up of scott not turning up for show and this is why there are not many videos of blink 182 playing with scott
@ThingusBand plus if you've ever picked up an ES-333/335 they're not exactly the lightest guitars, Tom should never have switched from his Strat, sounded better too..
travis played the demo. they wrote this song with scott and travis replaced him in 98 obviously after this performance and wrote the rest of the record with travis. i have the original studio version with scott. idk what it was for but i have it. and mutt wasnt on the enema demo, the demo is worse quality than the version i have with scott. just some info.
No the Scott demo is online. Travis did the American pie version and then the final version on enema. Theres probably another mutt demo with Travis but that hasn't been leaked or released.
@@bluewhye8832 holy shit 15 years later. Buddy I have the audio files. Travis played on the entire enema demo. I have the original version with Scott as well. That's not the enema demo though
@@guitared182 I thought you were talking about THE demo. I didn't know The travis one leaked. I have heard the man over lard, dumpweed, lifes so boring other songs from the enema demos.
yeah i think they had initial problems with playing it live, so they never really played it, and aswell even though it's their best song, it's not that popular
@bloodtimer kicked out for being a so called alchoholic. can look up interviews with him on google. he is is another band today where he sings and drums. another reason as to why he left is apparantly he wanted to sing some songs in blink but tthey woldnt let him
@rosssparrow Yeh but scott was getting kick out and personality i think enema of the state was the best ablum they did what was mix between pop and punk switch had travis in the ablum not scott and most of my favourite song have travis in and only couple with scott and scott drumming is pretty much the same just little changes to make in go with the song and travis drumming is crazy like "down" that is awesome drumming.
@smittypunker Travis always came to blink 182 show and he did not ditch blink, blink broke up because of tom and so want if he drake all the time he was 10x better than scott and he like is rank in the top 30 drummers in the world dont think scoot was.
@TheXNighthawk i agree travis was a far better drummer technically, but for punk rock sound, which is fast and loud and somtimes repetetive, scott had travis beat
@TheXNighthawk he didnt make them more famous. he joined when they were already famous. scott was their for the whole journey up the fame ladder. if scott stayed in the band and blink went on they still wouldv'e been huge. mark and tom are the reasons blink was popular not the drummers, although scott in my opinion fit blink better
I love this version of the band.
Scott rocked
scott can hold it better travis fails at josie he only hits the hi hat when he hits the snare thats cheating you have to hit it on every 8th note not when he hits the snare. and if you look at his face hes like dying hes feeling pain. scott just does it the right way without a breaking a sweat
Such a bad ass concert.
4:19 , Bye Scott :(
Dude Ranch, Cheshire Cat, Buddha, Tales From Uranus = some of the best punkrock albums ever made,
I love all their other albums from Enema to Neighborhoods but nothing beats 1994-98 true skate punk era blink.
true
Brian Robb so true
stingray,les paul,scott,baggie style,good times.
mate kmica oh yes .. so true
i miss those days
i know i was only 6 when i first saw them but still changed my life
warptour 98 was the best i saw scoot there sadly i was only 7 at the time
They didn't become commercial. They're became more popular and more famous.
@TheXNighthawk yeah but there still are videos of them with scott. besides, on punk televison they play only the videos with scott for a reason..
This was before the mutt was even released
love this guys
scott " mad dog" raynor on the drums
best song ever
Amazing
thats what im saying. i would kill for a blink concert with songs from cheshire and buddha and flyswatter and dude rnch
Mutt's on Enema.
If you look in the credits of american pie.. travis is in the video, but they give scott the credit in the movie.... Blink was the shit when scott was in the band
@bloodtimer can u tell me the link to the raynor interviwe
@RIKSET27 Where is scott anyways i looked it up and i can't find anything on him, all i get is that he went to rehab.
@Jerkyboy2169 cardoz is right, scott dosnt play any songs on enema. there are some written and peorformed before and maybe he played on the enema demo but on the final record he dosnt drum any of it sadly :/
the song was originally called princess leia but on dude ranch it was changed to a new hope
it was before enema recording, they recorded this song excatly for American pie,: It was first recording with Jerry Finn
dude his beats were punk rock. without him blink woulda been a totally different style, like they became with travis.
@STimo95 ye but it was the kind of kick out where they are all completely pissed at each other. raynor probably had no desire to play anojhter track once they treated him like shit
hearts all gone is pretty punk tbf, the new album is a mixture of everything and its awesome
@Jerkyboy2169 and another thing: if you listen to scott play it live its different to the album version. then if you listen to travis play it in 1998 its exactly how it is on the album
don't compare scott to travis cuz travis plays a softer way of punk rock and scott played hardcore
Yeah true Trav was a Ska Drummer before Ska drummers and Punk Rock drummers sound different. I know I last saw Blink live on 12-05-97
@NewdErection yeah man its so hard to just hit everything on the kit in a random sequence.
@bloodtimer are you talking about the interview with scott and mark in the tour bus. there are 4 parts?
@TheXNighthawk i meant scott wasnt always drinkin 100 percent of the time.. besides he fit the band way more
@champ1114 yeah but he skips notes. he only plays on the 8ths rather than 16ths
holy shit thats scott man
fuck man thats dope
@rosssparrow No the interview with a guy and scott in 2004
SICK! Tom's using a les paul
Dude Ranch was recorded with that very guitar I believe.
@smittypunker thats very true... i struggle to play most the way through on any tracks with Scott, in buddah his double peddle is pretty fast too xD he was gifted wiv insane speed.. he must really please the ladies ;)
Maybe. But i think it was like a year after this.
Look at dont leave me, or pathetic live on the mark tom and travis show. thats hella fast haha
wait wtf? they wrote mutt while scott was still in the band? i did not know that
that would explain why tom says "new song" at the beginning
lol always get a kick out of youtube, idiots comparing two drummers calling eachother every name in the book. who cares whose better. thanks for posting this video, great quality. can you send me the raynor interview joboshmo. thanks in advance if you can.

There,I made the 182th like
@rosssparrow i finally found an interview and have it in my favorites if anyone wants the link ask
@smittypunker Dude doubt you would know blink if travis never came to the band and blink would of stop because they were getting fed up of scott not turning up for show and this is why there are not many videos of blink 182 playing with scott
@smittypunker he did fit the band but travis has made blink more famous so i dont know but if i could choose it would be travis not scott
hence why Enema of the State had tons of pitch shifting, mostly on Tom's voice. Nothing good lasts forever.
@tp182j the bunny has changed hellllla dude
amen
@rosssparrow dont forgett their demo 2.. i mean just hearing songs like marlboro man and better days wouldd be enoughh for me
Fucking awesome! old shit yea
so scott did play a few of the enema of the state songs before he got kicked out
awsomeeeeee
u can tell how different he is that travis
there are none recorded. you can tell by the difference in style.
Mark Allan Hoppus (Ridgecrest, California, Estados Unidos; 15 de marzo de 1972)
@rosssparrow won't let me post link but i think i can send ina personal message
Before they put it on Dude Ranch it was called princess leia :)
blink-182 goes every way oh yeah!!
182 for life!!
:-)
Damn Musicman Stingray sounds so fucking great! Fingerstyle but pickstyle too! wrrrrrrr!
@smittypunker type in scott raynor interview then click on the top one that says absolute punk.
No travis joined in 98 which was the year this was recorded
@bloodtimer send me the link mang
mutt before enema of the state!
wow!
it´s a little diferent....
but is great
nice video!
@champ1114 well what im saying is travis is a more diverse drummer, and can do punk, but scott has more energy and can play faster songs.
I said it MAY BE. And I meant video.
@ThingusBand plus if you've ever picked up an ES-333/335 they're not exactly the lightest guitars, Tom should never have switched from his Strat, sounded better too..
2020?
2021
@@erick2rancid fuck yea

i'm just saying that scott didn't RECORD any of the songs on enema.
travis played the demo. they wrote this song with scott and travis replaced him in 98 obviously after this performance and wrote the rest of the record with travis. i have the original studio version with scott. idk what it was for but i have it. and mutt wasnt on the enema demo, the demo is worse quality than the version i have with scott. just some info.

they played waggy and princess leia years before they recorded them on Dude Ranch
@tp182j haha so true! BUT The bunny is tattood on Toms arm! It can't change or else Tom will have to change the tattoo!! hahahah
too bad i was in kindergarten back then. blink has always been my favorite.
Dolan... you havn seen her has u?
and what's the next song??
@MTBWAREO at least im not the only one. imagine playing a whole dude ranch setlist. my hand would die, its hard enough to play 1 or 2 in a row
yea...but travis recorded in studio...scott was a batter punk rock drummer...he kept it simple. But Travis rock sooooo much!
yeah i think they had initial problems with playing it live, so they never really played it, and aswell even though it's their best song, it's not that popular
What was the dancing song?
He made a little mistake at 00:53 too but you've to hear...
@TheXNighthawk dude. punk rock isnt about the fame. besides they were known pretty well when they released dude ranch
love the bra on marks mic stand
proof that scott raynor played on the enema of the state demo
Scott Raynor originally recorded Mutt however he wasn't on the EOTS demo.
Dolan... wy are you comant on ths?
@bloodtimer kicked out for being a so called alchoholic. can look up interviews with him on google. he is is another band today where he sings and drums. another reason as to why he left is apparantly he wanted to sing some songs in blink but tthey woldnt let him
The song had been written before scott left
Is this the only known song that from Enema that Scott wrote? if theres more that would be awesome.
when he starts singing he doesn´t play the same thing he plays in the cd, but its just a small difference.
however the song is great! :D
it's not 98...travis is not on the drums there ...correct me if i'm wrong, but that's scott
in all the albums that scott was in the band were skate punk albums, then they went pop punk

@TheXNighthawk ok for now adays travis fits blink
Thumbs up if you think by watching this video: Damn ... There was a time they where so cool ...
@smittypunker Travis always came to blink 182 show and he did not ditch blink, blink broke up because of tom and so want if he drake all the time he was 10x better than scott and he like is rank in the top 30 drummers in the world dont think scoot was.
travis´s version is a lot more creativ and sounds better,
but scott is awesome
@TheXNighthawk i agree travis was a far better drummer technically, but for punk rock sound, which is fast and loud and somtimes repetetive, scott had travis beat

@dilligaf1942
I'd love to have Scott as my drummer.
bands rarley go into the studio with nothing written at all they normally have some sort of demos of songs to enter the studio with
